Got a question for all of you as its been some years since I last played WoW (last one was WotLK), whats the deal with Lust as I was unfortunately kicked from the end of the BoD raid (which i needed to complete the damn quest, ugh…), but someone explain to me why is Lust hated? I should mention that it benefits me a bit, but what exactly does it do for fellow players in my party?
It is a powerful CD that often needs to be used at a specific time. It can only be used once per 10 mins (generally speaking).
So just using it whenever, can have a negative effect on the raid, since it effects everyone and gives everyone both the buff (30% haste) and the debuff (can not be effected by it against for 10 mins).
On the Jaina fight it causes her to ice block and become immune to all damage for a time.
You likely got booted for continuously ice blocking her. You don’t use it for the haste on that fight (besides mythic strats)
I havent been booted yet, but I have expected to, when I hit the bloodlust accidentally a couple times. I had to take it off my keybinds and move it over to where I can only activate it by clicking it.
Players do get pretty bent if you fire it off at point where its not needed, then we’re on CD when we do need it.
