Blood Moon: Consume Magic now affects all enemies within 8 yards of the target.
Spectral Sight allows you to slip into the shadows while standing still. Is this good bad or situational?
It’s interesting that the single talent does 2 things.
Both seem fairly situational.
I could def see it causing some swings in 3s if you like consume magic back 2x polymorph or freezing trap and the mage/hunter is too close to a teammate.
Blood Moon might actually be sleeper OP when combined with the Lost in Darkness conduit.
It depends on how Blood Moon works. If it works off of having the buff Spectral Sight and being stationary, then Lost in Darkness would allow us to get 3-7 seconds of us phasing into stealth in combat as long as we sit still, or are forced to sit still. Imagine Popping Eyes and then getting opened on by a rogue and fire mage combo, stunned for 5 seconds, and you are just invisible and they cant hit you and you don’t need to use anything else.

Its good but probably not worth a pvp talent slot. Shadowmeld is the best pvp racial and consume magic gives us fury for each buff dispelled, but none of that seems worth losing what we already play.
Bloodmoon will be insane for rbgs, a mass purge is huge

It’s only an 8yd range though. Pretty useless except if melee are stacked on each other.

I mean any flag map, silver shard, purging druid hots of buffs is still huge
I’m not saying purging is not really strong, I’m saying it won’t be very common to purge multiple people with an 8yd range.
Definitely not when you consider giving up MS, Reverse, Darkness, etc etc
I think the stealth mechanic has larger potential, especially when paired with the conduit to extend Spectral Sight duration. But this probably won’t be great in RBG, moreso for Arenas

If the spectral sight works likes shadowmeld I can see it being great to dodge extra cc. Like you see a poly coming use sight and dodge it. Or a storm bolt use sight and dodge it. If it works the same we have a 30 second dodge now instead of 2 minutes like meld.

It evens the playing field between blood elf and night elf demon hunters.
It gives night elf demon hunters a form of arcane torrent in pvp, and gives blood elf demon hunters a form of shadowmeld.
Blood…Moon… get it?

Could also be useful for getting a hunt off mid fight. Sight and then hunt while invis so they don’t see the cast and don’t use defensives.
