1- No healing mage please.
2- No third spec please, fix arcane first.

You mean 4th?

4th specs are fan fiction, its strenuous enough for blizzard to create 1 more class, let alone another spec for every class in the game

This is not dragon age.

But I liked dragon age. The concepts are cool but bioware really dropped the ball since the first game, no reason blizzard can’t pick it up. The only problem is that in WOW blood magic isn’t related in any way to arcane so mages can’t do it. The blood mages in game aren’t actually mages they are just called that.

Blood magic is life magic so the only current classes that deal with that branch of magic are druid, shaman, monk, and DKs. (Spirit magic and Life magic are the same thing.) The only class that is willing to twist life magic into blood magic is the DK although a class that would be an apostate of those class orders that twist life magics would be a cool addition but unlikely.

I always thought the San’layn would have made a cool addition. Too similar to existing classes though – DK and warlocks.

There was never going to be a 4th spec for any class. However, I’d rather see a battle mage/ red mage over a blood mage.

We already have blood mages in the game, Bloodelven destruction warlocks.

This, this exactly.
I just want my damn orbs back!

It was never a rumour. Sure a couple of guys in the forum said, “we want blood mages” and it got debated by people in the forum and like so many other forum debates it died.

For it to really qualify as a rumour you need at least some 3rd party blogger to claim that data mining has revealed a possible “blood mage spec”. And then some other guys referencing said article/blog/fan fiction have to spread to several different sites (at least here and reddit) and claim it’s really happening.

And of course have additional outrage posts when reality sets in when the wow release doesn’t have the rumored spec.

But that first “independent” blogger, even if the guy is completely making everything up, and laughing at the rest of the idiots who repeat his bs as “fact”, a rumour really needs that guy to get the ball rolling.
