It is the only way.
This is genius
I really don’t understand why this wasn’t the first thing that popped into the devs heads.
Paladin is one of the most popular classes in all forms of wow. Now you add DS and CS to pally and not expect everyone and their mother to want to play one? Come on guys… its not rocket science. Draenei and blood elf should have been the first new addition they implemented, not doing so was a gigantic miscalculation on blizzards half.
Doesn’t matter how long SoD lasts, alliance will always be more popular because of paladin with the new additions.
It is the only logical way.
I think it is because adding JUST the elf and draenei starting zones and not the rest of outland would require actual work.
It would obviously help the faction issue though.
I suggested Blood Elves and Goblins being added as neutral - so they would choose to join horde or alliance after some event unfolds.
It would be easily explainable, Shamans could be dwarves - Elves on the alliance would be under one leadership - on the horde, they would be under another; same goes for goblins.
It’s two iconic races - the others could all be cut imo.
Blood elves on neutral wouldn’t solve horde being substantially less popular even if it would be cool.
Nah, lets keep it this way its better, orcs cooler lookin anyway
No factions. Everybody kill everybody. (There’s too much red in this thread)
The only way to make horder more popular is by adding more cool monsters to the faction:
Naga, Ogres, Satyrs: all could be, but none really ever turn to be something besides “the evil guys”.
But there is no bigger draw to a fantasy franchise than a castle - and stormwind just always gets better in that fantasy setting during leveling.
Elves are constantly a popular race in all MMO, there is a reason so many horde TBC and on are blood elves.
Adding blood elves would solve the issue on faction balance within days, it gives paladin to horde and gives the people who like ally but want to play horde with friends a real choice on horde.
As I said, don’t disagree on that. It could even be something less elaborate than blood elves, as an in-between stage of just high elves after the fall of the sunwell, before the start of the burning crusade. That 0.5 Elves we see at ashara.
I personally don’t want new playable races but I would love to see more blood elf npc’s
I mean those are literally just night elf models with lighter skin, why not just do blood elf at that point.
Adding the while blood elves capital aswell? And the starting area?
Not going to lie. I do miss my space goat any time I play classic servers.
Why would you not need those for the other elves? And if you didn’t need them why not just add belf without it?
God forbid
This is implying that they didn’t do work on this release though, they did. I think they didn’t want to do that though due to a negative reception, if they showed that I think a lot of players would have looked at this and been like:
Oh so Classic+ is just copy pasting sh*t from TBC real creative guys.
So they wanted to avoid that and only add new things. But I really believe some stuff from TBC should have been back ported to this release, most notably guild bank and blood elf/draenei.
