I think Cenarius did it with a Mammoth and that’s how we got Magnataur so by that reasoning he did it with a doe and uhh well dryads and his keepers are the product. We also have the centaur from the Dragon Isles who are unrelated to Zaetar’s offspring meaning Cenarius did it with a horse or an earth elemental similar to Princess Theradras. Either way Elune and her offspring are notoriously freaky.
Keep Elune away from the Blood Elves. It’s only called “Silvermoon” because it’s named after a city from DnD.
lol wow I forgot about those “interesting” bits of lore!!!
Hmmm, now that I think about it din’t we get a Legion quest were Dryads came out of Sap and in Dragonflight you create one from a corn deep in… “Special Water”?
Umm… wow your right Cemeron Elune and her offspring ARE notoriously freaky! LMAO!
Can you imagine if we get an Side mature rated game like BG3 or Witcher were you can romance NPCs what it look like with WoW lore!!! OMG…
Next you’ll be telling me that Elune is based on Selune!
gasp
Yeah I mentioned that in a different thread, but the reason I bring it up here is because people in this thread were iirc saying "It’s called “Silvermoon,’ so Blood Elves must have some connection with Elune,” when really, the name is out of place and kind of goes against all we know about Blood Elves.
If Midnight has us having player homes. They can add player spouses to tend to our homes like in Skyrim and open that up to any NPC that a player fancies… lol
Hey Warframe added dating to their sci-fi space ninja game, SWTOR has it since forever… I think that’s a sure bet! LOL!!!
EDIT: You will have to pay premium package for Hero NPCs like Jaina, Anduin, Thrall, Baine etc… Those will probably cost money knowing blizz if they add this in their game!
(Sorry I could not resist!)
Yeah, a race that is derivative from a third party that existed well before their progenitor race. Jumbled mess.
I forget which city it is either Raven’s Bluff or Waterdeep, there’s a building with Selune’s buttcheek imprint from a throw down she had with Shar during the Avatar Crisis.
She has Lady Moonberry, Droman Aliothe, Zayhad and the Lord Herne as Soulbinds…
The Winter Queen like her sister and her nephews and nieces has very eclectic tastes. I shudder to think what their parents are into aka the First Ones… The whole family seems to have no issues with animals and relations.
I still like the theory that the Winter Queen and Bwonsamdi were once in a serious, romantic relationship which ended badly. Hence why she hates him. Likewise with Eyir.
Do you think Eyir and The Winter Queen ever exchanged notes?
omg this be such a treat if we happen to stumble in-game to be true!
The First Ones strapped a Computer onto the Zereths causing their Eggs to hatch into Automa: Robot-like Entities with Meat inside them.
The Zereths’ Eggs also become Worlds too.
What the Zereths are is anyone’s guess. At the very least Zereth Mortis is the size of possibly 2 Zones if not bigger as I’m sure we haven’t seen the thing’s full size!
Elune extending her influence into the Horde is also objectionable accounting for that Desolace quest the Horde PC gives themselves to cheat code her power through blood sacrifice, since they “have neither the time, nor the inclination to worship the goddess of (their) enemy.”
They were doing a Romulan style self makeover and rejection of the culture that they didn’t fit into,
Daytime is the traditional time of weakness for Elune who was said to sleep in the Well of Eternity. That well was desroyed and they were exiled from Kalimdor and cut off from Nordrassil, so they cut off their own Night Elf trappings as well, as their journeys had physically changed them into day adapted creatures.
So Light worship came naturally.
I always wished they would of made a normally shunned sun god in elvish mythology that the High Elves embraced out of spite, and as a way to justify the way they were transforming physically. “Oh we are not devolving, THE ETERNAL SUN HAS CHOSEN US”.
I daresay that the Quel’dorei and Sin’dorei see their forms as refinement from a primitive rough, rather than devolvement.
There is a whole conversation on how transforming to look more human is seen as an improvement, but that could be an entire thread of its own.
