Was thinking if we Arcane Mages could get some spell effect glyphs that relate to the sunwell, i.e (Arcane Intellect… etc.) kinda like the Dalaran brilliance. Arcane Mage lack customization glyphs and spells. One for our Arcane Familiar would be rad. ^.^

Arcane has no spec specific glyphs. Its very disheartening especially when frost has like 10 different water ele glyphs…

OMG sames! Sunwell is a font of pure Arcane magic, well now tainted with holy magic. Still though, can’t deny that Arcane! would be so cool.
So like you want your arcane missiles and stuff to be yellow?
Just different animations, more boom for your buck. Arcane is not yellow. The sunwell is like a battery, powering spells making them stronger. So changing the animations would be cool. Maybe even changing the colors, but arcane has always been bluish/purple that would not change.

But the Sunwell is a hyrbid well of arcane and holy magic. So what changes could they make that wouldn’t ruin the theme of arcane magic being purple?
I mean, honestly, yellow/golden glyphs wouldn’t be bad. The purification of the Sunwell is why Bloodelves now have access to golden eyes as opposed to the fel green ones. The only problem with the Sunwell idea is that it wouldn’t make sense for alliance mages.
I was thinking of it being more of a racial customization for arcane since the sunwell is uniquely tied to the blood elves.
I’m not against it but alliance arcane mages need love too.
That’s why OP said glyph. That way you can choose if you what golden spell effects for it or not. It’s not like it’s completely unheard of got glyphs to change the color of a spell. That way Arcane could have a glyph for spell (finally), and no one’s fantasy is ruined.
They could add an alliance version as well. Don’t see why there couldn’t be both added.
Yeah, totally, but like, what would it be? I would still take an array of golden explosions though.
I guess it would depend on which elf race they based it off of, IF they just mirrored the Blood Elf/Sunwell motif. You could have Nightwell or Moonwell. Moonwell are what are in most night elf areas right? Or maybe a void based one if they went with the void elves.

Yeah they can take the arcane more void or take is more lunar for alliance.
