I misread things, I thought it was troll or elf or orc. Aesthetically blood elf looks best with the mm artifact weapon, but mag’har make the best beast masters thematically, plus a beast master mag’har is utilizing their racials the best
Meh I’d play anything but elf, they’re ridiculously overpopulated and most of them look the same anyway.
Zandalari should be considered too imo, they have good animations, fancy transmog (especially BfA dungeon ones) and lots of thematic weapons too.
Plus you get racial with which you can experiment.
And you’re guaranteed for mog to look always good on them.

(Datsmebro here) Oh I agree about elves, only reason I have a be is because they’re the only class that can be dh. I’m leveling up a zandalari marksman hunter now. They’re pretty amazing looking. Also if you’re sv you can get the mending pvp perk which has synergy with regeneration’ since dot cancels it

When it comes to cosmetics the elves are the winner for me. The shoulder scaling on male orcs for example looks horrible.

This is my Troll Hunter, I mean the only gripe I have with him is on the character selection screen he clips through his pets and it just looks awful.
