I want to be an elf but trying to decide between Alliance and Horde for Shadowlands and interested in Warmode, Dungeons and Raiding. Any insights?

I think you’ll find yourself enjoying Blood Elf Warlock. Assuming you like PvP you tend to have better players there.
I also plan to get green fire. So excited. Just want to make the right decision.
Oohh well go with them green blood elf eyes. 
If you want to play Destruction or Demonology, Blood Elves are more fitting with their connection to Fel Magic.
If you want to play Affliction, Void Elves are more fitting with their connection to Shadow Magic.

Void elves have the single best racial for mages in the game imo. Physical damage can’t interrupt their casting.
But The blood elf racial of, “i’m on the horde so there’s more on my team in WM, and my faction is where all the raiders are.” is probably stronger.

I suggest Void Elf for both the aesthetics and that you want to play with War Mode on. The Horde is already populous and finding Alliance to battle can be a real challenge at times. The Alliance has no such issue and is in fact usually outnumbered.
If you really want to sink your teeth into PvP and fight for every inch of land and your life, than Void Elf is where you want to be.

So if I want to pvp I have to roll void elf and if I want to pve I have to roll blood elf.
I can’t roll forsaken because they’re not elves and it’ll promote bad back posture which isn’t good for me.
I swear you already sound like a blood elf.

If that isn’t a petty reason not to role something idk what is.
blood elf, unless you just really want that entropic embrace buff and casting perk, though I think the silence on blood elves as their racial might be equally useful for a warlock/mage.
