Blood DKs in Arena

Title. I know someone just made a post about how this community is garbage and full of whining 3 hours ago… however. If the community doesn’t bring exploits and imbalances to blizzards attention, how do you expect changes to be made.

Just some food for thought.

I’m honestly more interested in how people dealt with double blood dk, or blood dk + (enter random class probably paying for arena rating carries) in the original Cataclym.

What the hell do you do, run and hide? They rune tap, attack, they Deathstrike and heal 40% of their health?

Why are tanks even allowed in arena across all formats of the game?

It’s a waste of time.

Don’t engage unless you have disarms/stuns/silences up, you’re facing a literal boat anchor

Rogues beat Blood DKs 1v1 every time

You should ignore/CC them until their partner is dead however

honestly i’m not sure im tempted to just /afk against any blood dk comp, considering I play thug with our damage being entirely physical.

Probably could burn the rsham fast with blood dk/rsham though. And just rotate cc’s on bdk, which i have a lot of.

If you do go in on a blood dk you need to stay away for at least 5 seconds for death strike healing to reset.

unless you’re doing 35% of their hp in 5 seconds its not gonna reset

I don’t think I’ve ever played a blood dk in arena yet. They just don’t exist past a certain rating.

Ignore/cc him and kill his partner first. If you’re a rogue don’t stand and fight him unless you have stuns and disarm. Rinse and repeat. They’re not really a threat outside of self healing a lot.

One tip against BDKs is to never keep your pet on them or near them. Keep it away from the BDK because the BDK will use the pet to get Death Strikes and heal off the pet. If you keep everyone away from the BDK he wont be able to heal nearly as much.

Sometimes get lucky just popping the DK, but as long as they can’t get Death Strikes in, they’ll die… so kite… and keep in mind that if you do a lot of damage, in a short period of time, Death Strike gives a percentage of dmg taken in the last 5 seconds.

Delete Blood DK’s from the game. Fixed.

dont listen to any posters theyre all r1 xp apparently and have the iq of a child. yes, tanks should be removed from pvp along with a bunch of other overpowered abilities and mechanics. they should just add dampening and 2v2s start at 20%. all problems completely solved.

Super common, just wait till you start facing Feral teams.

Tanks are the foundation of PvP and All 3 Class roles should be represented in PvP otherwise it’s not a good format. The issue is Arena is a bad PvP format and never intergrated Class Roles well and likely why ultimately it failed. Classes aren’t balanced for 2v2 or 3v3.

Whats your rating? Because the #3 player in 3’s is a blood DK. Mestwo is their name.

I’m 2100 in 3s right now but Mes is not blood, he’s unholy. Unfortunately the ladder isn’t perfect and show’s whatever gear/spec you last logged out as. You can see he is in full PvE tank gear.

And yeah you’re right, but I see him up there as blood all the time, so I assumed that’s what he pvped in. Also probably why I see so many frost DK’s up there from time to time, and then they vanish lol. I’ll concede the argument :slight_smile:
