I don’t see this trinket really listed anywhere but it seems like it’d be an interesting choice

I got this in Vault at 470 ilvl along with a ironshell pendant(473) and tier pants and shoulders at 473. The tier would just upgrade my current slots but ironshell is BIS for M+. Fyrakk’s just seems like it’d be cool to use but does anyone know how it would compare to other “tank” trinkets?
Fyrakk’s Tainted heart was meh, then got buffed on PTR before 10.2 and was really solid, then after going live got hit again and is now back to being pretty meh. If you can get a mythic item level one then it would be on the table, but seeing as that isn’t a reality most will see, you’re better off with so many of the other options on the tables.
Also regarding “tank” trinkets, there is really no need for them and you’re better off going for things like Augury, Signet, Branch, Rezan’s etc If you REALLY wanted a defensive trinket option you could go with Stonescales or Leaf of the Ancient Protectors, but there is really no need and you’re better off with the other options.
Hope that helps =)
with a 470 tainted heart and a 467 rezan’s my tainted heart was doing a significant amount of damage more than rezan’s. Im not sure the hate for this trinket. It does better damage than some of the ones listed as best but also comes with a shield component that can be used passively for the damage or as a mini cd for a lot of mechanics.
The low cd makes it pretty good for several bosses. The damage is also pretty decent if you send it on CD. My DK has it at 489, and it’s really good.
