Going to start a blood dk need help and suggestions on a alliance race … gnome is adorable but not sure if hight will be a issue later on for me lol … Any thoughts

I play Tauren. Slight stamina buff isn’t really noticeable. War Stomp, is awesome for tanking. Taurens also look amazing in plate DK gear.
This is certainly subjective, but I had issues years back with a Gnome Warrior I played when tanking. I felt like I couldn’t ever see where my character was and it seemed my visibility was limited. Probably just camera angles I wasn’t used to though.

I’ve only had this dwarf DK since DK was introduced after Nax but have recently been thinking about making a Kul Tiras DK.
They look very cool in plate gear, they’re yuge, and nobody plays KT DK. Might be an option if you want to be original / different.
Gnome DK would be cool too though.
Just roll one and start queuing instances right away if youre worried about the size thing.

Kul Tirans get a small self heal from all damage taken with Brush It Off, which lends itself to being a Blood DK, and Haymaker is pretty fun to play around with.

I like my mechagnome DK.
Nice utilities on that race, but very limited transmogs to look cool.

Just throwing it out there, but Kul Tirans make for an amazing BDK.
You have Brush it Off which heals based on a % of incoming damage taken, and it is more helpful than you would think it would be. There’s also Haymaker, which in PvP and PvE you can grip something, and put it way out of position.
Nasty caster in the back or healer? Deathgrip + Choke and send it back to your team with none of their allies in sight. You can make a huge difference in RBGS/BGS, and in dungeons you still have quite a few tricks up your sleeve for control.
You also swim faster. Not really mind-boggling, but it’s a thing.

Kul Tiran is technically the best tank race for every spec. If you’re ever going to play DPS I’d recommend a dwarf race though.

Mechagnome would be hilarious lorewise, since you don’t have much actual blood compared to other races. Also funny in that you’d be reborn…how many ways? You were a gnome who decided to become a cyborg. This is before or after you found your calling to the Light as a Paladin. Then you died and were brought back as a DK, machine parts and all.
I would have major identity issues. Would be fun to RP

Orc master race. Macro Blood Fury into Slappy hands and enjoy your passive stun resist.
I enjoyed void elf for the mog options honestly, but shadowmeld for NE is still one of the best racials for dungeon skips when they are more available.
But now I only play vulpera because nose for trouble is just an incredible racial for blood dk. The first few seconds of a pull are typically when we’re our softest.

Are you taking the piss?
You run in and aggro, run through to a safe destination, and shadowmeld to drop hate and keep plugging away.
It’s a full aggro drop.
I did it all the time before I went VE.
