When blood could first dps it was over powered and needed to be scaled back and that happened. But it was done to much, with all we know now, by ICC the other specs strip past hard in terms of dps.
This could be changed with one simple fix. Make sudden doom make Rune Strike cast able as a runic power dumb outside of procs, as well as a 15% to cast a free rune strike on attack. as bloods new rune dump. So that they have a rune dump that scales better with their arp stacking and other stats.
What you are suggesting is balance changes and we don’t want that AT ALL!!! We want Classes to play the same and have the exact same power as they did in original game.
If they start balancing Classes the game will quickly go down hill and it won’t be WotLK.
Blood is meant to be a dps spec, all 3 were, as they were all mean to tank, that was the point.
We already started making some changes, why not a few more. Blood was changed a number of times, this is just a small change to allow them to have their 3.3.3 levels of competition again.
We have not made ANY balance changes to class design because that would be an irreversible horrific slope to start.
It’s a class change and if we do 1 for Blood we have to do them for ALL Classes which would ruin WotLK. It would be a different game.
Blood is the Tank spec, the only DK Tank spec. With that said as someone already pointed out Blood does great Dps by endgame. Especially with Arm pen and other items. You can look up Dps builds on Youtube they have already been done.
I play Prot War to do massive damage and spec to do damage. However they shouldn’t buff it’s damage just like they shouldn’t mess with Blood that is actually pretty broken.
