Is there a way to block someone from searching on the TRP map to find me in a city?
If you are not in party, they should not be able to see you on map. There used to be a guild function that allowed you to see guild members, but not sure it works anymore. It could be an add on, but I do not know which one would do that. You have me stumped. OP. I have no idea how a person could track you without any of those.
I know what you are talking about, OP. Unfortunately, I do not think that there is any way to block a specific person from seeing you on the TRP map — although now that you mention it, I would love if that feature were added!
As you probably already know though, you can go into settings and disable showing up when marked OOC, or disable appearing altogether. The latter prevents you from using the scan, but you can always turn it on briefly and then off again.

There is also an add-on to TRP3 that gives you a quick toggle button by your abilities bar, so you can easily click if you are visible or not.

Fun Fact: Using that scan option changes the colors of the spheres based off of the “relationship” you have with that character.

I didn’t know that, either! haha…so much I don’t know.
I haven’t really been using the relationship feature. BTW, can other people see that, or is that just for me, so I know what relationship my char has with them?
It is just you for personal reference. I have a bad memory due to the medication I take. It just helps me remember who I’ve encountered, who my character does and doesnt know and heaven forbid if I need to keep distance from someone.
