Blocking domain

I got new internet with fiber; Unfortunatly, it seems the entire “http://us.battle.net/” domain is blocked while on the internet; (Likewise the launcher doesn’t load things or connect nor can the games likely because they hit this domain or something)
This is true when on wireless, wired, or directly connected to modem;
The domain IS reachable if I am using a vpn(nordVPN specifically)
This is true for my computer, phones, tablets and other devices;
My equipment is a eero
What I have tried so far:
Resetting modem and resetting router; Forgetting and repicking internet
Flush DNS

I am uncertain what else I can and should do; Any suggestion would be appreciated;

Use https instead. Clicking your link though goes to the secure Bret shop. Could be your router configured to not allow unsecured connections.

Using https does not work;(Thank you for the suggestion)
Also note, it isnt just website in the browser; The entire launcher and the games cannot connect to the blizzard domain unless I am using a VPN;

The next step would be a call to the ISP. Maybe they have some settings on their equipment that is blocking the domain.

The ISP said no issue on their end(could be lies) and they told me to contact blizzard; The blizzard system said to ask on the forums;
I am stuck in the no one wants to take credit loop:P

If you try to connect to Blizzard with your phone connected to wireless does it connect?

No; No device can reach blizzard domain on the wired or wireless connection; Nor can they reach it if connected directly to the modem;

I can only reach it if I use a VPN;

Sorry I didn’t see that in your original post. You said you reset the modem but did you reset the modem to factory defaults. Is it a modem you own or is it supplied by the ISP. If you did not reset the modem and the router to default settings I would try that I would also try changing your DNS server. It’s possible that your ISP DNS is unable to resolve blizards domain for some reason

I did reset my modem and router to factory defaults; They are provided by my ISP.
What sort of thing would do I say to my ISP? They say they have ‘done everything they can’ and I dont know what to have them try or test;
They say it is a bliz issue(but this is unlikely) and bliz tickets closes any I open so I cant ask anyone there what the issue might be or how to test or resolve it

You have already conclusively narrowed down that the problem is something the ISP supplied or is doing with your connection, so Blizzard would not be able to assist with that.

Think of this the same as if YouTube or Gmail wouldn’t load. Would you contact Google? Those services are rarely down (maybe 3 times in 15 years). Something the ISP supplied is blocking your ability to reach Blizzard’s website and services. Maybe it’s a native security setting in their modem (a reset wouldn’t help), maybe it’s in their customer website configuration (Spectrum has something like this). Whatever it is, the problem started with the new ISP, so it’s on them to figure it out.

I would honestly have a technician come out and look at everything. It is very possible that it’s a DSN server issue.

If you know how to change your DNS server in Windows I would try

Google DNS
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4

Settings app
Right-click the Windows button and select Settings
Click Network & internet
Select Wi-Fi or Ethernet
Under DNS server assignment, select Edit
Select Manual from the drop-down menu
Toggle IPv4 to On
Enter the Preferred DNS address and the Alternate DNS address
Click Save

Control Panel
Open the Control Panel
Click Network and Internet
Select the internet connection you want to change
Click Properties
Under Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), click the radio button next to Use the following DNS server addresses
Enter the DNS server
Click OK to save the changes
Restart Windows
You can also change your DNS server by changing your router settings. The exact steps for doing this vary by router, but you can usually find instructions by searching for “change DNS” plus your router’s make and model.
