I clicked on the website link and got a message saying I was blocked, this happening to anyone else?
Try opening it in Incognito.
Alternatively, it might be down for maintenance – or in a different location (if its a specific page on Icy Veins).
No worries opening it just now.
How do you get blocked by icy veins? I figured they would have been hardup for clicks with all the slop they’ve been posting recently.
I thought the same thing tbh, haha
Incognito didn’t work, I emailed them to find out why I was blocked, what would they block a person for though? Are they mad I’m using an ad blocker on my phone?
which page specifically? I am using ublock origin which filters all ads and I can access it.
Their home page, at first I was looking at the best races for Warriors currently but was met with being blocked when I clicked on the link.
Are you using a vpn?
Maybe they had a bad actor using it?
Something tells me we’re not getting the whole story. I’ve been here for a while and I don’t think I’ve ever seen your name. Do you spend a lot of time on the forums on that site? Do you tend to get into disagreements in those forums? Is it possible that maybe you have gotten a little verbally heated and used some inappropriate language?
It’s literally a research page and the only way to get banned there would be if you violated their TOS or code of conduct in the forums so they IP blocked you.
It’s Dwarf. Stoneform and Crit Damage stronk.
I didn’t realize Icy Veins had a forum, I rarely use that site. I only go there to check out what the latest meta is, gems and enchants to use, etc.
If you didn’t violate the rules in the forum, then I suspect it’s probably your VPN.
do you have a static or dynamic IP address. If its dynamic, go into your router on the World Wide settings, change it from dynamic to static, enter some random ip addy, save. Then after a minute go back to dynamic, it should reroll your ip addy.
I’m on my phone at my in laws waiting to leave and was just browsing in the meantime.
Theres only one explanation, your inlaws have been troilling wow sites
Ha, not likely.
Would you like to share with the class?
What was the actual error message you got?
Wondering if it was an actual Icy-Veins “you’re banned” or if maybe your in-laws have some kind of Wifi/Router whitelist for internet use because of kids or something weird like that.
I guess if that was the case you probably wouldn’t be on here though.
If you call them out for reposting stuff from Reddit they get really defensive lol
