Then this is fine. Changes aren’t universally bad. We sort of know that things that happen in-game aren’t perfect representations of the lore anyway. That’s why when zones get makeovers and NPCs get model updates, nobody bats an eye.

Pretty much, and while it’s weird that they updated this…when it was released back in BC… Blizzard was all about copy/paste NPCs instead of diversifying things up. They probably didn’t even think to add male/female ones since that would have been a bit specific and tryhard for that time. BC was lazy lorewise anyways so now that they are making it more accurate, there really shouldn’t be much complaints, especially if you care about the lore, on this change.

I mean we live in a world where a group of African Americans wanted to protest racial police brutality - created a group called “Black Lives Matter” to make their case - and in response counter protesters made a group called “All Lives Matter”.
So… they have been for a while in that context.
I dont know how having male models there makes it World of Wokecraft – they arent removing that the Den of Mortal Delights is still the same.
Though people getting oddly offended at male consorts is kind of funny. Especially since its matches from the lore with these additions than before.

People saw that for internal use related to coding purposes only, the word “blacklist” was replaced with “blocklist,” as is the industry standard.
They are now poking fun at the possibility of Black Temple being renamed.
No words using black, including blacklist or black temple, are being removed from community usage.
and let’s also make the females wear dresses while the boys are in their undies.
I for one, don’t think these changes are that big of a deal. I’m still going to play, but at the same time, these changes are without a doubt stupid.

Frankly, I don’t understand either side that are for or against these changes. It’s just a video game. It’s not that big of a deal.

So your all fine with this change? and yet you do not see the forest thru the trees. Why are all the men dressed skimpy now? Is this what is considered acceptable now? How come it’s perfectly fine to call men Consorts and not women? The definition of Consort is Married to a Royal. Prince Phillip was one Yet using the term for a woman is a no no. this is the very pinnacle of nepotism. I honestly didn’t think the company could go any lower but it can. My partner was 100% correct when she said this is a very dangerous slope. I don’t think it is going to stop now.
