As a healer myself I view this post as complete nonsense.
You mean, going back old school, to how things were back in the day? It would make people focus in on what their class/spec does best, instead of trying to do everything all at once.
There is a significant different between how it feels playing an hpally in Wrath Classic, for example, than it did in Slands, for example. Comparing the two, I felt more like I was playing an actual healer while in Classic, than I did in Slands.
If people want to play a healer, then don’t force them in to this dps bs.
Noone wants old school? Things changed, and class designs and game change.
The old days are not that great, we can see them on the classic and wrath servers. It was not a better game like people made it out to be.

wotlk classic had more players at release than retail. it will again when ulduar releases…
the two biggest additions to the new expansion are flying again, and talent tree return.
when roles mattered this game had 13 million subscribers. now it can barely make 1 if we’re lucky at the peak of expansion hype.

The realm I play on in Classic is more active with people than my main realm. The only ones that can even compete are the full realms, like Stormrage.

Again, people go in check it out and leave. Old school does not have staying power like retail.
Many people went to classic servers, saw how it was relived the moments and left. We all saw the flaws with classic, and we still see them.
To even suggest that classic and the older wow can compete with retail is laughable, it has already been proven it can’t.
Please stop being silly? The only reason why classic did as well as it did, is because of how poor retail has been.
If retail is good, people will spend less time in the past.

Wrath also has been losing players, and classic wow people already asking for starting over servers because people not doing anything.
