I don’t have any specific wishes, but I was just talking to my roommate about some things that would vastly improve some experiences.
But as far as Blizzcon goes, I just want them to make their announcements and not make an idiot of themselves.

To address the elephant in the room, I’d really like to see an apology for their terrible decisions and/or some self-effacement for having foisted a tired MoP retread on us.
Past that, I guess I’d like to see a more comprehensive plan for classes going forward.

I too would love to see Kaldorei Worgen added. It makes sense to do it now with Tyrande and Genn pissed that Sylvanas got away, they may seek out the Kaldorei Worgen still trapped in the Emerald Dream and release them to be allies.
Now before people say they are all feral monsters, I will point out that we see one the Night Elf druids who was in Gilneas under Tal’doren in Duskwood during the Worgen Heritage Armor quest. She is there trying to help those Worgen regain their humanity and such, so perhaps she will also be involved in aiding the Kaldorei Worgen released from the Dream.

Off the top of my head, allied race and pandaren death knights are coming with 8.3, not in 8.3.5 or 9.0. Because I’m impatient.
Two last allied races are being added. Something we’ve actually wanted for a long time, not races invented in BfA. Could be high elves and ogres, but other options are fine.
A fundamental change to design philosophy of the game. Esports focus on mythic dungeons and raids, along with this weird algorithmic approach to gear is not healthy for it at all. Return the RPG elements to it.
I want to see the night elf and undead models for Warcraft III: Reforged :]

On the assumption that Blizzard is too stubborn to offer any sort of genuine mea culpa, my standards are pretty high.
- Complete leveling revamp. Just reducing the level cap doesn’t seem like it will be enough, I really want to see some kind of effort to bring the world out of perpetual Cataclysm and reconcile the nonsensical timeline issues that have been cropping up, even if it means compressing/replacing BC+Wrath quests into single “let’s see how things have changed here” zones.
- No new continent. People always want to see the new zones, but they really need to get out of this pattern because the map is a complete nightmare of layered expansions by this point while 90% of the old world is left to rot.
- Playable dragons. Assuming that all of the Dragon Isles stuff isn’t just bait, I have always thought it would be interesting to take druid-style shapeshifting as something for a race instead of just one class.
- Player housing. It’s ridiculous that they haven’t done it already.

Seriously though I want it to be like the Legion announcement. Legion added some stuff people had been wanting for a really long time. Demon hunters and an ashbringer in every pot etc. Whatever 9.0 is I hope it includes one or more of the eternally requested features, whether that is player housing or High Elves or Ogres or a cata-like revamp or whatever.
I think Legion and Classic proved that instead of saying “you think you do but you don’t”, it turns out that giving people what they ask for actually works really well. Listen to what people want and what they don’t want.

is it too late to change my answer? 
I wouldn’t mind more allied races for sure. Ethereals have been on the top of my want list for over a decade. Hozen have been up there since MoP, too.
For classes, I’m ready on the Oceanic server I have my main Alliance characters on at least – name-wise. I think I’ve covered all possible classes, even a bard.
WrA, not so much, but I tend to have actual names here, not clever words/nicknames (which have all been reserved AGES ago anyway).
I’d love Vol’jin to be involved in the plot in a way that isn’t utterly insulting to everything he and the Darkspear stand for…
I’d also like the announcement of a Shadow Hunter class . I’m tired of having to pretend my rogue daggers are glaives.

I’ve been waiting for tinkerer for ten centuries, goblin & gnome only please (maybe dwarves and mag’har (???) too)
make classes not feel horrendous to play
give the alliance a cool allied race like ankoan or those new mogu

Going to try to name stuff people have not said.
- lifted transmog restrictions which include transmogging whites and grey items as well as non spec locked artifacts. Also with the option to mog to slot rather than to item.
- More choices that affect your personal story. With different consequences/rewards. I feel like BFA’s test with it and the Sylvanas stuff was a good test. But it would be nice to have more choices for both Horde and Alliance that lead to different places.
- Being able to group with and be in the same guild as members of the opposite faction. Perhaps in opposite faction cities you can have disguises.
- More racial customization. Which means some new hairstyles, a couple new faces,etc for each race. Maybe some bigger ones like “fresher” undead. Not sexy Edward Cullen style undead mind you, but more akin to human dk skins.
- Even better class skin glyphs. Like imagine being able to turn Holy Priest spell skins to look like shadow or shadow spells to look like light(So for example, a lightforged draenei can play a light based thing without having to be paladin) nothing that changes how things work just the colors/flavor is different. Although honestly since damage type doesn’t matter anymore I guess those could change too.

Blizz artists have sort of a thing with making all the male characters look super ugly.
Give us more handsome faces. And nice beards for races other than dwarves.
And yes, completely redo every male nightborne face (no offence Mithriax)
