Is it possible that the new Blizzcon Wendigo Transmog is a hint that we will be going back to somewhere cold (northrend?) in the next expansion?

Probably. After all, after retread-BC should come retread-WotLK.

Not sure why they did retread-MoP out of order, though.

After seeing it: never mind. I don’t need immersion breaking footsy pajamas.

They should’ve put the raf one in the blizzcon rewards. Those pj’s won’t look very good on the vast majority of characters outside of females/gnomes or gobs. Then you have to factor in that nobody on moonguard wants a full body suit as it’s immersion breaking to their erp.

The Shadowlands will be pretty cold.

In all seriousness, Icecrown is the anchor to The Shadowlands and Azeroth.

Maybe they are trying to capture that demographic. Sadly with this expac it seemed with the downfall of BFA and the rise of classic blizzard got the message… nope.

I see no reason why they have to limit themselves to one new continent.

Why not take the only good thing about Cataclysm and have us travel in all different places?

“World of Warcraft: Shadow of the Banshee Queen” a bit like a fantasy Sherlock Holmes mystery. It also alludes to the strong shadowlands theme. I don’t think they can make a whole expansion entirely about the shadowlands.

In all fairness worgen were a good addition. Also Northrend is still an epic place.

I’m ok with some goofy stuff, but I have my limits. Footsy pajamas are pretty dang close.
