Please announce the following for your next expansion to get subscriptions back:
Pathfinder is no more: enjoyment of the game and exploring can now be purchasable with gold. Not time-gated
Amount of time gated content: instead of blocking reputation with world quests and dailies, you can now wear tabards again to gain additional experience with other reputations (bonus reputations)
PVP vendors are back with honor points
New Quest Objective tab: Split quests in your tab into catagories (class quests, story quests, and dailies) increasing the amount of quests you can have to 40 not 25.
Less RNG: give players back the objective to get items instead of completing quests and looting items they don’t need.
We no longer have scrapping. Give players the choice via PROFESSIONS on getting materials and collecting them. Not having a RNG system to “maybe” get materials you need.
Professions: focus back on jewelcrafting, alchemy, blacksmithing, enchanting, archaeology. You have made professions and making gold from them non existent.
Bring back more spells: Pruning has ruined the game.
Follow through with your feedback, don’t just “LISTEN” just “DO IT”
Having to spend a ridiculous amount on a ton of alts is a pass. Big no thanks. A better solution wouldn’t be to get rid of PF, just remove the time gating and rep requirements. Boom, solution.
Other than that, most of what you said there is something I agree with.
Expansion-wise, I really hope the next one is a death theme.
Pathfinder wouldn’t be so bad if it weren’t split up into two parts. If it was just one, I would be more okay with it. We already had to grind 4 (5?) reps to get part one, I don’t think we should have to grind out two more.
Not going to happen, they’re pretty firm on this. I would like to hear them release it sooner, though. X.1 would be good.
I do miss the tabards, though it does feel nice this patch to unlock new quests as I spend more days with the factions. I don’t know, it isn’t too bad? But I don’t mind a little grinds in my MMOs.

I do agree with this. Especially islands as a reward system is crap.
Confused here? You can choose your professions and get the things you want, scrapping is just a way for you to get stuff not for your profession. I don’t like Expulsom, but I like my main being able to stock the guild bank.

Another great idea would be for them to allow your character the ability to learn all classes…similar to Final Fantasy. This would help get rid of that feeling of repetitiveness that many have when jumping on alts.
is it just me that doesn’t mind walking everywhere? It’s not like were walking from stranglethorn to SW. Mobs aint no thang if uk ur class and gear yourself.
Except dazing only seems to be getting worse and more prevalent and has very often been the reason for me to log out. Even being dazed while trying to kite and kill things. It’s becoming more frustrating than it needs to be, and flying can’t come soon enough.
I just so happen to be a massive fan of anything related to dragons. So as long as there are dragons, and the expansion takes place on the Dragon Isles, then we got ourselves a deal.
This. Let folks unlock flying in 9.0.5 or 9.1 and I think most people will be happy.
The only problem with pathfinder in BFA is that Blizz got themselves well behind schedule (compared to Legion) and it took almost a year to have the ability to unlock it.
Pathfinder is fine, although if you do want to change it, maybe you should ask Blizzard to set it up so that once you unlock Pathfinder Part 1, you can fly immediately, but only in the zones that you explored/quested in to unlock Pathfinder Part 1 (so if we use BFA as an example, you can fly in every zone except Naz’jatar and Mechagon). Then when they release Part 2 and you unlock that, you get flying in the zone(s) added in the patch with that achievement, etc.
This current system is honestly fine. You want the reward, put in the time and the effort, and to be honest? Rep grinds aren’t even that difficult. The most annoying rep grinds were in Vanilla WoW and Warlords of Draenor.
As for the 2nd. Well once does not always have the time to grind daily. The world quest’s limit how much your allowed to do in one sitting. So players may have the time to binge out a bunch of rep but are limited to the amount of world quests up. That’s not fair. The system rewards the daily players and punishes the sparatic players even though they are both willing to invest the same amount of time and effort.
This one get’s tricky and there is no real solution. I like talabard grinding but I think it should yield small results when compared to the world quests.
Buying flight for gold isn’t a ridiculous amount of time for alts. Usually the first patch or so they implemented a way to buy flight at lower level for alts. As far as the gold cost outside of faster flying the cost was usually on par with the amount of gold you made leveling through new content. WOTLK, MOP were both like that and cata was next to nothing for flight.
Personally Id be happy with Part 1 pathfinder and we fly though. I wouldn’t even care if they made us wait a patch or two for it to unlock on lower lvl toons. Waiting a year for part 2 is a load of crap and its just being withheld out of spite.
