To lighten things up, I'm following various interviews / reveals on the new Hearthstone expansion Rastakhan's Rumble and the F2P mode coming with it appears to be a mix between an arena run and a deck building game where you can assemble a team of combatants.
While definitely outside the WoW canon (Zul'jin is still alive, as the first flagrant 'violation'), it's shaping up to look like a really fun expansion for fans of Trolls and the Loa - folks might be interested in checking it out just to see what kind of other Loa and troll heroes they'll be putting out to help them with ideas!

He's just a world boss. He's "Weakened." Still seems ~kind of irresponsible~ but I'm sure it'll be building up to the Kerrigan 2.0 redemption arc if it was Sylvanas, or they'll just say the Twilight's Hammer suddenly appeared during the Battle for Darkshore and stole a two story tall sword and refugees noticed.

apparently the twilight's hammer did exactly that
Which just brings us back full circle to how a group can be eradicated a couple dozen times but always has just enough plucky troopers to pull off a major win when the story demands side content.
So the Twilight's Hammer can steal a two story tall sword in the breath of an overnight patch.
But if I want the transmog scythe from Argus I have to kill him a trillion times.

It only works if your gaze isn't permanently locked on the camera.
I have a hard time not hearing "Don't you guys have phones?" when I see the story story updates. They're just so spectacularly out of touch. No one wanted this.
The people who wanted a generally good Horde are upset at being forced to participate in this.
The people who would be fine with a villainous faction can't enjoy any of this because they know deep down it's only a matter of time before they're forced to play the role of righteous warrior of virtue later on in the expansion.
While it's a nice set up for the Alliance player to have an openly evil opponent, they're deprived of any real joy because they'll once again be forced to rescue the horde from itself and tell Saurfang how gloriously honorable he is while helping him to rebuild the horde war machine.
The people who wanted a generally good Horde are upset at being forced to participate in this.

if you ask me blizzard is a great company that makes EPIC games!!! i mean they made Starcraft and Overwatch!!!!

As an Alliance player, I didn't want this because this is Pandaria all over again. If I wanted to play Pandaria...I'd dang well go and do Pandaria!
I wanted a quiet, decompressed expansion where we could go back to being just adventurers again after being the Chosen One for two expansions. If the faction war flaring up once again was the backdrop by which we could get said "quiet" expansion - both sides aggressively wooing any who would sign up - then so be it.
I didn't expect to see Undercity blighted, Teldrassil burned to the ground, Night Elf Dark Rangers, and Blood Elf Vampires.
I wanted a quiet, decompressed expansion where we could go back to being just adventurers again after being the Chosen One for two expansions. If the faction war flaring up once again was the backdrop by which we could get said "quiet" expansion - both sides aggressively wooing any who would sign up - then so be it.
