I noticed the vendor (Zas’Tysh) was not in Org yesterday when I checked on Classic Beta yesterday. I may have missed it as I’m not as familiar with Classic Org as I am Classic Iron Forge. I know things aren’t going to be 100% the same in Classic, but if servers are in a Patch 1.12 state this vendor should be there.
Some of us still have our original cards from our Blizzcon goodies bag with the Baby Murloc code and BC beta access ;p. Will we still be able to get this item?
Since CE edition pets are being added to accounts I was wondering if it maybe possible to mail these to people that have redeemed the code way back in the day or maybe check bnet accounts for the achievement and send them to people.
I used to park my character at Ironforge bank just to let people watch Murky dance and they would wait a good while to see it too!! While I know Pet Collectors are a super small minority in this game and even smaller back in Classic, but if this could be added somehow you would make this Humble Old Time Pet Collector and others eternally grateful.

I would do this then whisper the owner how cool his pet was and ask for gold. Rather high success rate.
The vendor isnt currently in the game, I think only CE pets are currently implemented.
Heres to hoping they bring it in a future iteration!

They’ve gotta put Murky in, he’s as Vanilla as it gets and late Vanilla at that! I feel the same about armorless mounts (currently being left out for being too early?)
If it was in vanilla at any point in time and doesn’t override any patch changes (we’re talking strictly about mounts and pets, cosmetics, not every iteration of a bg or anything) it deserves a place in the Classic Museum in my opinion. More nostalgia seems better to me.
I’ve never seen a Murky in retail, I really hope I get to see one (owned by an original card holder) in Classic.

Strictly going by when Blizzcon happened and when Patch 1.12 came out I believe it would have been in the game.

Can we PLEASE get a blizzard response on this?! There aren’t many murky owners left, but to those of us who have Murky he is an important part of wow classic.
The vanilla CE pets are in, Murky should be as well since he’s part of the vanilla experience.
Please Blizzard, let us have Murky and to my fellow Murky owners… we need to keep up the questions until we get an answer. Murky belongs in classic.

I am a proud Murky owner and would be happy to show him to you in game sometime.

If true, the fact that the NPC is not there is concerning… no reason for it not to be there.
Murky should definitely be allowed if the CE pets are being allowed. Both are similar in that they are unobtainable via in-game methods.

The silence on this topic, and the NPC being removed, are concerning and disheartening
i really hope to hear from blizz about Murky and that they allow him to be part of classic too since he was part of vanilla

The NPC’s don’t need to be in game for you to get your old CE/TCG keys to be redeemed, Blizzard will just flag all accounts that have the criteria of redeeming these codes in the past. You’ll just receive the loot on character creation or in the correct phase they were released back then.

that’s true and i’m hoping it’s what happens, but the silence is worrying
