I don’t think they are afraid so much as they are insufficient. They don’t have the same amount of people who monitor the game and those systems are automated to save the company money.
Dont tempt them with a good time.
In all honesty, its actually very hard to get banned in this game now, unless your doing something that manipulates game files or hacking or manipulating the economy, you can basically get away with murder. Very rare do I see bans now for exploiting, most of the time they just roll back characters and remove the tainted stuff (i.e. Gear, Points, w.e). I never see a ban for name-calling anymore, man I remember back in OG Vanilla you get a 3 hour ban for calling someone stupid… Even if they were… Stupid.
Why is this you ask? Well the GMs you speak to now, arent really GMs their Customer Support. They have no power in helping you get anything back, whether its gold, items, w.e. They are simply there to be emotional support. Versus back in the day, where GMs would actually talk to you in-game, help you with whatever you need, deal with a pest, or just get some items back because you were hacked or someone ninja looted. Sure, they did a lot more than just that. But those days are long gone, and I dont see them coming back for a good time. We need them back. Sorely.
