How do I get my Dragonflight reputations corrected?
It seems some of them have been reset, which I didn’t think could be possible.
Can I expect efforts in playing toward any goals to be reset like this? Is this the case with all in game systems?
I believe it is a currently known bug that they are working on getting fixed.
And what makes you believe that?

Because we’ve been hearing about this here on CS and in Bug Reports. Someone was given this response by a GM when they put in a ticket about this happening to their guild rep:
My suggestion is the following:
- Exit game, delete cache folder, do a full UI reset and then check again, just to cover the initial troubleshooting steps they’d have you do.
- File a Bug Report.
- You can put in a ticket to ask about this issue, if you’d like.

So you believe that a person believes that a GM believes someone is looking into it?
Why was this moved to bug reports? I am looking for some customer support.
… are you trolling? The OP of the thread linked put in a ticket and received a GM response that it is a bug they’re looking into. And we have seen similar across CS and Bug Reports concerning the same issue. That was an answer to the question you asked in your second post.
Because it’s a bug and that’s where bugs belong: in Bug Reports. Like I told you.
And you received your answer: my post outlining what to do and your thread being moved to Bug Reports where it belongs, because it’s a known bug.

NOTHING is safe. And Blizzard owns everything, so it’s not “your” stuff, they are under no obligation to fix anything, ever.

Tons and tons of stuff, wiped out, and barely anything done about it. They barely even TALKED about it, didn’t even acknowledge it until a month+ later.
So yes, you can expect that any of your goals or collections can be reset at ANY time, and all you can do is keep paying them to try and regrind it.

The problem seems to be a bug, you are correct, but this post is asking questions about it. I would have provided better details about the actual problem if it was a bug report.
I guess moving it to bug reports is a version of saying customer support can’t help answering questions.

You did get answers. I gave you a list of things.
The CS forum is a peer to peer help desk, not a means to speak with developers or GMs. The Support Forum Agents moved your post to the correct forum, as it’s a bug and belongs in bug reports, so that it can be seen where it needs to be seen by those who deal with bugs.
That’s how these things work.

Considering this has been happening to people for >6 months at this point, I’d call it a feature, not a bug.
“Never run out of things to do, we will randomly delete your items and reputations (and who knows what else), so you can regrind them!”
