I replied to someone who said I had only been playing for 2 years.
I’ve been playing video games since I first played on Spacewar on the PDP-1 back in the 1960s and I’ve been playing WoW since Cat

There is absolutely no way you’ve been playing since cata and doing content to only have 3400 achievement points. You are either lying or you afk in orgrimmar and convince yourself that is playing the game.
Like I said you can enjoy the game if you want to play it that way but good lord your post history is nothing but immediately getting offended the second something negative is said about the game.
And there it is, the “elite” of the forum “eco chamber” telling us all who is and who is not a valid player. And the key? If you don’t tell the echo chamber what they want to hear, you are some sort of fraud.
If you were really familiar with the game you would know that there are many people who play this game in many different ways. Some people do quests, some do dungeons, some do Mythic +, some do raids, some gather resources, some do crafts, some do PVP, some collect mounts.
But the “elite” believe in a few key metrics which if you don’t play the game their way, you are obviously not a real player. And the sad part, WoW is not the only game with a croud that feels this way.
Sometimes these people who accuses the president or whoever else at blizzard that they don’t play their own game (World of Warcraft) then they should have the right to smack talk back to those who accuse those at blizzard. I’ve heard many forum poster accuse blizzard employees of not playing the game they help develop when they actually do.
I personally liked using /spit on NPCs that didn’t give me the loot I wanted.
Get over yourself.
Someone calling you out for trying to tell people how they feel for content you don’t even do isn’t being an elitist.
It is like arguing with ChatGPT with this one
Your the one that needs to get over yourself. I’m simply expressing my opinion but it’s not the opinion that the “echo chamber” wants to hear.
Also it’s clear you couldn’t answer my last point about how different people play the game different ways. And it’s clear why, elitiests feel that their way is the only way, their metric is the only metric.
We will never see you answer that point with a rational argument, just more elitiest bullying.
Oh boy you are clearly desperate for attention.
You afking in valdrakken 23 hours a day gives you the authority to tell people how they should feel about certain content how?
You can enjoy that all you want but don’t come on these forums and act like you know what you are talking about…
At some point I know you’ve got to realize that when several people say something its most likely because of lack of knowledge. People aren’t being elitist.
You are part of the echo chamber, lol. These forums have a ton of Blizzard apologists on them. People who post criticism are in the minority.
Oh, the irony ![]()
I refuse to believe that isn’t a troll account or alt from some regular who is bored. In which case its just getting blocked now to save my sanity.
This would be like me going into the pvp section of the forums and telling everyone that says anything bad about PvP they are wrong and the game is absolutely perfect
while having negative hours in the content…
It is an alt of the one of the frequent posters. A lot of people just play these forums, which says a lot about the current state of WoW.
Like I said, you will never give us a rational argument to counter what I said earlier. It’s not going to happen. Bullying is all you’ve got.
And yeah, “several” out of tens of thousands of people who play the game. Wow that’s impressive.
Yes, people who post criticism are in the minority. Thanks for making my point. Of the tens of thousands of people who play the game maybe there are a few dozen who cry and complain about the game over and over.
I made a point earlier. I’m betting you won’t address it either. All you guys have when someone doesn’t tell you what you want to hear is the fallacy of ad hominem. But hey, prove me wrong. Address my point and tell us where I went wrong.
Yeah just don’t reply to it and it will go away.
I am so sick of him not even playing FFXIV and using it as a cudgel for why Blizzard devs should listen to all of his suggestions because “FFXIV is better so there’s competition!”.
The ironic part is that one time the FFXIV devs listened to streamers in regards to a raid not being hard enough, so they increased the difficulty and it was too hard for literally everyone else and there were massive complaints about it and they learned their lesson and never listened to streamers/content creators unquestioningly again in the way Asmongold wants the Blizzard devs to listen to him.
There’s currently a handful of FFXIV streamers making complaints about the game being “dead” and everyone just dunks on them and makes fun of them because they all are just clearly doing it for clickbait view boosting just like Asmongold does. I hope the WoW community learns this lessons and stops caring about what people like Asmongold have to say about the game.
If good at some time I’d not know. Now…?
Pvp side he is carried. in one fo the ban waves of recent years he was banned mid stream for RMT suspicion.
He was cleared of the charges. They were going off RMT links to the guy carrying him. His carry was free, no RMT. Still a carry.
He whined to twitch when pvp’d…on a pvp server when classic first started up. When some dude ganks you 10 times after every corpse rez we have a saying for that.
pvp happened.
Welcome to places like STV on a pvp server. Not being corpse camped…is a very welcome and genuine surpise.
You can’t reply. I made a point you can’t touch and you know you can’t. But here, I’ll give you another chance. Give us a rational argument as to why this is wrong:
From earlier: [ If you were really familiar with the game you would know that there are many people who play this game in many different ways. Some people do quests, some do dungeons, some do Mythic +, some do raids, some gather resources, some do crafts, some do PVP, some collect mounts. ]
Clearly some would give high numbers in your favorite metric while others would not. Now let’s hear a rational argument as to why that is wrong.
are they friends again
No, obviously people that play the game off and on, and have no interest or investment into it know better.
