I am being ridiculous when you and that OP are going to play SL although you dislile blizzard’s actions and expect the next expansion to fail?
Anyone expecting bad results from SL should wait and see, instead of giving them money hoping for a better future.

You literally cannot play Pandaren Death Knights, nor could you make them, until you purchased Shadowlands, and until 8.3 released.

The game was never very popular.
I’m eagerly awaiting so I have a game i can play on my phone while going to the bathroom. Sure the statement probably made their marketing department facepalm but the game isn’t targeting PC gamers.
BfA is not the greatest I’ll give you that. But I have still enjoyed a lot that it offers so I continue to pay for it.
Every large corporation does this. It happens to cut inefficiencies within the organization to improve long term stability. The hiring should have happened sooner.
This is the life of FPS games. TF2, L4D, and even Fortnite are examples of this. These games dont have long term mass interest and usually live in a maintenance mode after a few years sustained by a niche group.
Really? Time and place. He knew what he was doing and what would happen. China is Blizzards largest market. They would be dumb not to tow certain lines and risk being shutdown.
This is a victim of cancel culture. Sure they over sold what they were putting out and its obvious what their intentions for the game were. Unfortunately for them and players their intentions didnt make it to a live release. The game is a refined version of WCIII and nothing more or less. They should have kept original WC available.
You said it great here. Logic and facts are escaping you for an emotional response. Blizzard operates a billion dollar company and there isnt a single person in these forums that fully understands what ot takes to do that. They have had plenty of missteps along the way and I anticipate more. But this idea that a company is somehow supposed to be a moral institution is bizarre. They have a business and the goal of a business is to provide a product or service for money, not to make you feel warm and fuzzy.
