Heroes of the Storm hasnt been adandoned, they’ve been pumping out content for well over since they basically backburned it.
It has no competitive scene anymore, but that was mostly due to it being unpopular.
Diablo: Immortals is a pure business move to penetrate the Chinese mobile market. Was it a PR disaster? Sure.
Is it not going to be profitable? Its going to make money.
While Azerite is much to be desired, BFA has its mixed of good and bad. Mostly bad, but continuing the same things from Legion without the nuance wasnt a good idea.
It wasnt just Blizzard. There was a huge layoff wave from different video game publishers in the past couple years. This was also in accordance to independent game studios also going out of business. Its all downsizing and speculation, companies make moves like this all the time.

This isnt just a thing at Blizzard. There was a whole report about how such behavior has been rampant for YEARS. Hell, Riot Games had a full tell-all about the culture it had in its corporate office for the past six years.

You do realize that says something about the game you’re playing if it’s not holding your attention enough? i mean don’t you want to be immersed in a story that Bioware has expertly written in a world of Star Wars, exploring a universe set before the prequel trilogy, how the Jedi and Sith came to be and all that? And discover where the hell those dumb Porgs come from? instead of multitasking to be entertained by some trivial opinions on the internet? 
I know that sounds “limiting” to you, Cause apparently you think it’s fine to do both WoW Forums complaining about WoW and playing SWTOR… apparently, but still has this Black and White attitude of "Your either 100% Blizz Defender or 100% hate Blizz and stopped playing the game etc. Like talk about a limiting attitude.

That’s fine if you don’t want to play 8.3, i mean this game has 16 years of content to boot, i’m sure you theirs something anybody would like. It’s strikes me a bit hypocritical that for a person who hates Blizzard fans and Blizzard themselves and the game, wouldn’t even spend a dime or time or anything on race change and expansion.
Yea and Blizzard gets… how much more money? 30+40 is like 70 bucks (assuming you got the base version and faction change, for simplicity sake), and each token is 20 dollars to buy and sell it on the AH, and buying one adds 15 bucks to your balance… so you need to buy 5 tokens… which gives Blizzard 100 bucks so you can have 75 bucks in Balance. Oh and that’s not counting tax, so if it goes over, you might need to get another one which will give you 90 bucks and Blizzard gets 120. And the tokens themselves aren’t unlimited.

From these reports I read, and I don’t have a source handy be warned, it was 5%. Which seems inline for when you’re dialing back a project like HotS competitive, and when you’re in the process of putting other projects (Diablo III and Starcraft II) into pure maintenance.

For the simple reason that I was planning on playing 8.3, had already exchanged the tokens for balance which was why I had a sub till feb10 but once i moved to swtor some weeks before 8.3 I realized how much more fun it is, not huge grinds, 90% of your character’s power is received fast through easy gear systems, classes are deep and fun and so is pvp.
Which of course made me realize how terrible trash WoW is with its mandatory grinds and timegated content and RNG on top of RNG to the point even your performance will be RNG and completely dependent on what corrupted items drop for you.
But I still went through the race change because I like having a panda DK, it fits me and is fabulous, so now im just collecting as much gold to turn into balance and get something out of it based on people’s suggestion on how to use balance you dont need for your own self.
