Well lets look at a Positive note, the 20th transmogs are ten times better than the PvP 1800cr ones. Even the gladiator mount looks like one of those generic rep reward mounts. So no need to get ratings this season, just have fun! At least next season you will start knowing what enchants, stats and gear are best in slot unlike season 1 lol.
It is what it is, 3rd party websites have taken over and Monetized all PvP rewards, queue sync win trading is rampant, and not one peep from Blizzard about it. And I honestly dont think its going to change. They just made 2 expansions worth of profits off one mount in one week, yeah no help is coming lol.
Bellular on youtube called this patch the worst in wow history, but at least we get some of the best transmogs ever! Cheers n hav fun!
I’m normally with you but the mount is fine. There is no difference between that and the original Brutosaur. People bought 5 Million in WoW tokens for that mount. You could trade 1.2 Million gold for Bnet balance day one to get the mount. Sucks to be them and I don’t pity them at all
I have changed my view on things a bit… I think its by Design, I think certain shady websites are sanctioned and protected by the parent company.
Example, classic wow a certain famous wow streamer was hit for buying gold, but the others were not, he was on the outs w Blizz. When ALL the big streamers packed their bags and moved to classic because thats where the money was. Those youtube videos showing thousands of Bots flooding the world after reset, were never banned.
Blizzard has Devs that are Rank 1 pvpers, the rank 1s are a tiny community, they all know one another and know anything thats going on. So the queue sync creating premade Groups in SOLO content for win trading and selling ratings is all by design. Its a brilliant way to Launder money off the players and the parent company.
In short, NO help is coming, so just have fun. If it bothers you that much I think the only solution is to vote with your wallet, open steam and check out upcoming new games.
He called this patch the Worse in all wow history, so if they are making maximum profits and giving the players horrid content. I would buy the mount right now, but why when the content we get in return is buggy.
The que syncing win trading selling pvp ratings is NOT going away, its only on the rise. Right now they pretty much run wow pvp content, not one peep about it from Blizzard. I would buy the AH mount right now, but I’m voting w my wallet. Lets see better content first, lets see a BAN wave against the cheaters.
ALSO, if you hold out, come the holidays they have huge sales, and put stuff on half off etc… I bet you get your AH mount for farr less.
Well he is a polarizing character thats for sure. I think for Legion he went to Blizzcon and learned how much the Blizz Devs despise him lol. He did not get the VIP streamer treatment lol.
Vanilla wow certain big wig streamers were gnabbed for buying gold, others were not, when in reality they ALL moved to vanilla wow to make money, sanctioned cheating. There is a reason the Real Money boosters have taken over rated pvp w no pushback, with no fear of the parent company.
I’m not saying any of what you said is right or wrong, but believing it because some YouTuber, or someone who won’t even take a shower for his partner said so, and using that as evidence of its validity is silly
You dont need evidence to state the obvious. All the players saying that rated pvp is over ran w money boosters and premade teams power farming Solo groups of random players. Its NOT Solo content, its Premades vs Pugs.
I am just adding that if Blizzard wanted it to stop they would. Through inaction they are saying allot. Record breaking Profits with less content… Was not too long ago the company made record profits and laid off tons of good Developers. Brain Drain many of the Blizzard Big names who had been with the game for decades are now leaving, their top talent.
Thats fine, we all have our views, many think the patch was awesome, no buggs, no constant DCs during raids, was great. Others disagree. 20th transmog quests only giving 1 token reward, I am sure some liked that. Others did not.
ALOT of players do notice the shady things going on.
I think asmon is an incredibly based guy especially in 2024.
Multi millionaire but still lives humbly and doesn’t try to flex over people all the time a trait that is extremely uncommon among other people who are multi millionaires. Is able to actually articulate his thoughts and he doesn’t mince his words very direct in what he believes.
Most criticism i hear of him comes from just trying to character assassinate him with personal attacks or something never on his actual views.
I like his show, because he is not owned, he says whats on his mind good or bad, I find his takes on many games to be more honest and accurate, unlike the media thats Bribed to review games.
