Can we please get some sort of tuning and change this awful meta up it’s a new season and nothing?? Come on shift the meta nerf the classes that have been OP for 2 seasons now and buff the weak specs!

Season has been live for a week. There really isn’t a “meta” and if there is, tier sets will change things up.

Because its a video game, its not that deep, its not that serious, and i hate listening to people complain day in and day out.
Its also 0530 and im half asleep.
Sure theres a meta, whatever, dont feel like arguing about it. In my opinion, it takes longer than 6 days to see what happens with a season.

Befel isn’t wrong, the meta will be defined after we all get 4 set. Making changes now and not then would be awful.

Of course there is a meta. It’s basically the same thing as season 3. The only difference is tier for classes. That’s it.
Maybe i’m just being pessimistic about whether there even will be balancing changes this season.
Man, the arena forums have surpassed even General Discussion levels of sensitivity. It’s actually impressive.

Meta seems pretty diverse. Cant think of 1 spec thats doesnt have a few good comps aside from fdk/augmentation/enhance.

Im not sure who reported you, but if i had to hazard a guess, it was more “this is a pointless reply and i dont want to see this” than anything about being sensitive.
Not the first time you’ve hopped into a discussion with the pessimism slider set to 11. Its not really helpful and it just adds to the biggest problem pvp has always faced.
Tuning almost always revolves around the competitive events.
AWC starts this weekend, plays into next weekend, and finals the following weekend.
- Cup 3: May 3–5
- Cup 4: May 10–12
- Finals: May 17–19
We might see some minor changes between cups, but probably not until after cups and before finals.
Thing is, they will be playing with all gear choices available to them on the tournament realm. They can gather data on what it will look like when those items are available in the live game.
We won’t have access to most of that until later in the season.
Theoretically, if they can identify issues with spec balance and/or tier sets they can tune the power levels and it should be in a good state by the time it comes to us.
