It’s really simple if you break it down. Either the reward is for both sides to encourage turning wm on or no side gets it. In an mmo with 2 factions against each other, giving one a blatant unfair advantage the very first week of the season is a huge spit in the face.
with a little imagination anything can be real fun, just depends on how you look at it.

I don’t disagree with you completely. Both sides engage in some pretty obnoxious behavior. I’m not a fan of people that didn’t opt into WM until the bonuses were offered either.
That being said, I still see plenty of alliance this week. Even though there is no AOO quest, I’ve been in plenty of battles on my horde alt. There are those that only opted in for the bonus, and there are those of us that stick it out regardless.
As far as being pansies goes, you can see I racked up almost every WM achievement in 8.0, before the bonuses were on the table.

Pansies was a generalized statement, encompassing most Alliance, but not all. I am happy that you have chosen to participate, reward or no reward. That being said, you will still die just like the rest 
You better bring friends. No way are you killing me by yourself.
Just have to wait out the 2 bubbles and lay of Hands and pallies fall over, I do enjoy WPVP and would be ok if all the bonuses are removed. It would weed out a lot of the camping of flight paths I am sure.
