Blizzard... Ya Need to Put Out a Statement

I see you on all these threads basically shilling for Blizzard.
While I agree just because you pay for something doesn’t mean it will be quality.
I mean I think the past two xpacs prove that, but can you put forth a better arguement against reimbursement than Learn to code?

There hasnt been much “game of WoW” this week.

Asking for a communique isnt about being an “investor”. It’s conveying a sentiment to senior management.

On one side you have a group of players who, objectively speaking, measured as X time over Y time, who believe something’s unacceptable. On the other side, Blizzard has shills like yourself, defending the poor decisions of senior managers. Shame isnt quite the word. A word that rhythms with “more” but with a “w” seems more fitting.

Another day.

Another nonsense post.

But they do owe you an explanation if you purchase the beef and wait 8 hours for it to be cooked while sitting at the table. LUL.

I think we have a contender for “Worst Idea of the Month”.

Lol! Yeah, but for people like Phydeaux, it’s called free market and the freedom of a rest owner to take 8hrs to cook you a steak.

They dont really need to at this point, with all the disgruntled employees leaking. Kotick wanted it rushed out ASAP to pad up the stock for the buyout. So minimum effort went into quality assurance.

Whatever the ToS says is whatever they’re allowed to do. It’s not like you’re gonna unsub anyways even if with random downtimes.

Nah… neither. It’s just a stylistic heading choice.

I dont expect Blizz to do much of anything these days. They clearly are no longer the company they were, more obsessed with valuation vs. creativity and innovation.

It is a statement of accept it. You purchase any goods and/or services based on this. Not even the earth owes you anything… It was here first.

I’m not shilling for anybody. Replace Blizzard with any other company and WoW with any other service and it is all the same.

I do think that they have done a terrible job in the past few expansions. In fact I quit halfway through BFA and didn’t even buy Shadowlands because of my unhappiness.

I need to manage my own expectations and behaviors, and not be a victim to things that are out of my control.

I’m not saying learn to code to anybody, I’m saying to stick with what you can control. If you want to vent that’s cool, but that’s not a call to action, it’s just a rant. I’m good with that stuff too, ranting can help get the emotion out. But these veiled posts like they are trying to be helpful are all BS, it’s all self motivated for their own interests and nobody else’s unless it’s in an ancillary way.

We don’t need to be reimbursed for hours of playtime. If you took the number of hours on average played over a month, WoW will cost you pennies per hour. Want a $1 on your account for 10 hours of missed playtime? That’s what we are complaining about?

They didn’t intend to do this stuff, nobody does. But they can do it because they know that what a majority of players will do is be upset and go about their day, but they know most of these addicts aren’t going to quit. That may sound rude to do from their perspective, but if you owned a business and you heard all of this noise but it never amounted to a drop in revenue, I’m sure you’d chalk it up to noise. I know I would.

You’re point is “most real”. It’s quite obvious from the patch they are just grinding down their staff to eek out as much profit as possible so that senior management can cash out huge one day.

TLDR

Run rabbit.

Sorry, we are busy counting our money. We cut costs across the board and our shareholders are ecstatic. We cut staff from test servers to the bone, quality assurance is razor thin, we also cut costs in our creative writing department. We did hire really low pay staff to man the forums to offset player dissatisfaction. All in all, our profits are profit and profity profit profits.

The only reason I know there was downtime at 10:30 am on a weekday is because of these posts.

Ok, well at least that’s somewhat of an argument.
Let me first start by saying I’m not advocating for reimbursement, but I feel your spill about personal acceptance is a cop-out.
Throwing your hands up and saying “Whelp! Nothing I can do about it.” is not only wrong imo but a rather apathetic outlook.
We, as customers have EVERY right to demand if not reimbersement at least answers.
We also have the right to take our money elsewhere if we feel our expectations are not being met.

maybe he has a private profile to prevent stalker pos’s like you.
