Blizzard WoW

I have played WoW since 2006 and most of my childhood and adulthood has been on this game, I fell in love with it and have many memories from WoW weekends with the family to exploring all of Azeroth for the first time.

Blizzard use to put so much love and passion into the community and interacted with us. They use to make appearances in games, offer support in-game, and even had a phone line for support. I loved it, it was unlike anything I had experienced. I was immersed into the game and the way they handled their game.

Now, you can’t get support. I had to go through 6 different tickets before I was able to get assistance aside from automated AI non-sense, the first 5 tickets denied my account recovery and kept rejecting information that only I would know; I got a real person on the 6th and was immediately solved.

I have had my expansions I didn’t care for and I have had ones I loved; the game is still fun and it’s pretty much the only one I play but sometimes.. it just feels like it lost that magic.. I get it is a business and they want to make money but not it feels like they will only listen to the big streamers and those that have mass following, they ignore the little guys. Everything has been made to appease to those that bring traction to the game if that makes sense. I just wish that they would communicate and have a little bit more professionalism when it comes to all of us that aren’t big time names and play the game to enjoy ourselves.

Warband lockdown few months ago, we had zero updates or communication from Blizzard, no ETA.

Blizzard is so unprofessional, they take away and they refuse to communicate the issue or give us any updates; just a black out curtain and a simply deal with it.

But I don’t blame Blizzard, it is how the world operates now.. ‘deal with it.’

I miss when businesses cared and communicated. I miss when games were made with passion.

All you had to do was wait 12 minutes and the servers would have been back up.

They must care a little, or they wouldn’t have done emergency maintenance in the middle of the night.

I remember when people understood what “emergency maintenance” means.

This is not just Blizzard. Try calling a drug store pharmacy or many doctor’s offices and you can grow old and die waiting for someone to pick up the phone.

Either that or you get a telephone menue that starts “Your call is important to us” then has you “enter 1, 2 or 3” with limited choices that proves the first statement wrong.

The one I really love, “If you are a doctor, press one. If not then you are a lab rat. Push 2 and try to find a comfortable place to sleep.”.
