Blizzard, why did you scrap PvP objectives in open world?

Nazjatar was a blast. I loved the Zerg fest that ensued when the battle for Naz began. The crate rewards that randomly came from the sky were fun too. Why did you guys not implement any of this into Korthia or the Shadowlands?

The answer is laziness! :+1: Same reason for dumping Archaeology.

I miss Legion PvP WQs. :slightly_frowning_face:

Because people got too salty about being ganked and so they removed it.

I am guessing that it was a time/man power thing.

Same reason a lot of little small things were abandoned for the expansion.

I really should have let them put archaeology and pvp objectives into SL.

Sorry.

Ppl world pvp? I though after the maw fix and Alliance no longer farming nab horde , ppl stopped.

You could figure a reason for no archeology. It’s the shadowlands, time passes differently, etc etc. What old things could you find where everything that ever existed is still standing?

No PvP though… hmm.

did they ever fix faction balance in nazjatar war mode? I ask because I remember 1 of 2 things happening:

  1. I join a shard where it’s me and 3-4 horde players versus 2-3 full raids of alliance
  2. I join a shard with a 3-4 horde raids and spend hours trying to find even a single alliance member to kill

It’s weird too because the Brokers are obviously interested in motivating conflict and benefitting from Alliance vs. Horde. You would have thought the Brokers would have something to do with it easily considering they’re the ones who motivate us to take out people who have hit the Bounty level, and they’re the ones who discuss the point behind PvP WQ’s.

I have to admit I would go out of my way to chase those air drops even if I was fully geared, the gold and piece of gear I could vendor was worth it to me; plus it was fun chasing that thing. It boggles me that I didn’t even notice that they had removed that feature. it was a feature that did not detriment the game in the slightest and was pretty fun/cool.

I can definitely see the downside to the airdrops though: Airdrops favor the dominating faction on a server. That favor wasn’t 100% guarantee that a faction would unlock that airdrop though.

Then they shoud have expanded on the Warmode, put some queue to it if need be. Make it fair.

Korthia is too small for PvP objectives. Most zones are these days as they opt for smaller, more annoying to navigate zones as a cheap replacement for content.

It was still fun. I had a blast raiding the horde main city. Nowhere’s safe!

Korthia no, but there’s for sure a PvP WQ in Bastion.

In BFA it was a whole event that had raids of people going head to head. They had world quests too but those aren’t very popular.

World pvp is so underrated content , idk why blizzard is doing nothing around it

All Korthia was forced archeology…

Nothing made me happier than dragon rushing dozens of people off the pathways in Naz.

Imagine some Worlds Quest Pvp , where you have only 40 slots available and the pvp event start , 20 ally vs 20 h2 , and if you win , you gain like 300 conquest points or lot of honnors so you are doing it for something , PVP players would love this

i don’t know they need to be creative and make wpvp content
