It is important for people to complain about quality of service. It generally is one of the best ways for a company to improve. When I get food at a restaurant and it is wrong I tell them and they fix it. Usually they go above and beyond to make sure my visit is a good experience. What doesn’t happen is the guy at the table next to me tell me that I am wrong for expecting good service. If you are trying to chide people for filing complaints, please check yourself before you do. It might make you feel good to take a crap on someone but I promise you there is no reward for it. Blizzard isn’t handing out cookies or free game time to the White Knights covering their asses. At the end of the day the more you water down and cover for them the longer these maintenance times and bad expectations get for us. Just look at how much longer and more shifty they have gotten over the life of this product in recent years. The next thing I would say is all of you White Knights would be the first to vote against Blizzard if there was a blind poll on how badly Blizzard manages maintenance and patches. So to the Blizzard White Knight in each of us please think twice about covering the butt’s of a company that is getting slowly worse over time and let the guy have the opportunity to have his food made correctly.
I agree, chiding people for having complaints isnt very productive.
Seems racist to me…
so this is a thinly veiled maintenance troll thread
If you ever want a good laugh, just remember that they do it for free.
i agree with the OP. if you don’t agree with me that a thing is really bad, you’re white knighting it.
You lost me here. Fortunately, some of the reply posts were amusing!
If you’re complaint is valid, and respectful, by all means.
If you’re going full on “Karen” I will gladly tear into you.
Not valid.
ah…you mean…fanboyz?
the blizzard infallibility doctrine club?
yeah…they make the game worse…
discussion and dissent effectuates
positive change…nothing ever got better
by shutting down discourse.
Complaining means that someone cares enough to try changing things they see as improvable, and instead of quitting provide the development team with feedback.
Complaining customers are probably one of the greatest resources a company can have.
I think this outlines the issue at heart. Everybody has limits and they just aren’t hitting theirs. At some point they will be hurt and they may or may not leave.
Your feelings are yours and you don’t need to justify anything to anybody.
Second greatest is employees who care enough about their trade to improve and work off of said feedback when genuine.
ooh…are the spelling, grammar, and syntax
enforcers scrambling…
that usually indicates that someone is out
of ‘discussional’ ammo…
next starts the name calling.
who was it, maybe the ffxiv director that mentioned he would 100x rather have complaints than silence? Ambivalence is way more concerning than complaints.
I still think people whine too much overall but it’s my choice to read it.
You better back off Blizzard!
You
BACK OFF!
Blizzard is trying to entertain us!
Most of the complaints about wow are typically “i dont like x thing so blizzard needs to change it for everyone” or sound insanely spoiled
developers can’t see everything…
they’re not omniscient…
player feedback has value.
