Blizzard, where are your paying customers boost?

Would it not then be cheaper to just give it to all accounts, active or not? Saves having to sort by inactive.

It’s likely mostly automated.

Someone had to program the automation
Someone had to set the parameters
it all = $$$

You’re assuming here. Good try though.

Not at all, I used to stay unsubbed to the game for years, only coming back for the free week 2 months before the next expansion where you got the previous expansion for free.

In fact, there are free weeks in final fantasy 14 every six months, and a large portion of the playerbase uses them to complete the manditory msq without ever having to pay a dime to square enix outside of expansions.

it is a reward to stay unsubbed in games like this, as you get so many incentives staying unsubbed that you do not get when you are subbed.

No I am a business man who is in a similar field but okay.
I guess Blizzard / Activision has some amazing tech no one ever saw before.
A system who can read the minds of the Settings team and populate their thoughts.

I would give my eye teeth for that tech.
It would save me hours a day.

I am done trying to explain the flawed logic here.
You obviously know a whole lot more than I do when it comes to running a business even though I have been in the online sub based industry since 2006.

Maybe you can teach me what I don’t know.
Nice play.

“spoken like a true horde. No loyalty or honor.”

It’s ridiculous to call this a “gift”.

To get this you must re-subscribe to a game you haven’t played for TWO YEARS. You must also purchase BFA (you don’t have it). And you have no use for it unless you start paying and playing again.

It isn’t a “gift” if I have to pay $75 to $150 to get it.

It is a sales gimmick, trying to encourage former players to spend money.

I am confused
why would it cost $150
have you priced xpac?
you guys get off easy
you don’t have to buy all the expansions you missed.
The complete collections is only $59.99 as of the time of this reply
1 month sub is 16.00 if you have to pay tax on it
that does not add up to $150.00

It’s still not an incentive to get a level 100 boost just because you haven’t been playing for a while. A person who has been playing could have every class at 120 by now if they really cared about playing alts.

And you had to spend thousands of hours and hundreds of dollars to do that.

And This is prime example of with Activision is inviting back to the community folks.
Let the fun times begin! SMH

And? I enjoyed it enough to spend that time and money. You seem to get some perverse desire out of “sticking it to the man” so you do you.

The point that many of you Blizz defenders is missing is that every current customer can be a former customer next month. It’s not like people who bought a car and won’t buy another one for 10 years, so Blizz needs to work on keeping players happy on a monthly basis. I’m sure every month there are many players who aren’t sure if they will continue, and this type of action by Blizz won’t encourage them to re-sub.

Well Said Maddof!
“sorry bout the spoken like a true horde” comment haha
It should have been “Spoken like a true Sylvanas Follower”

Yes, yes it was. It has been stated MANY times by former founders that have left. It was also Blizzards mission statement!

Also, i have been subbed since early 2005, without EVER lapsing, do i get anything? Nope, just the folks that played that horrible version of the game they now call “Classic” from the beginning!

BS if you ask me!

Its just a money spinner not a good will tyvm there is a difference.

Actually, it’s very likely it would have increased time played by a considerable amount and would have gotten a lot of “inactive active subscriptions” to log on and play, which is a metric they use to entice shareholders.

Missed opportunity and poor PR.

Why would it take hundreds of dollars to level toons? The boost they are getting is the same we got when we purchased Legion. They aren’t ripping us off or anything.

How is it a money spinner? If you sub for 6 months, you actually spend the least money every month.
