So when it comes to Warrior, I have some rather confusing antics to share. Melee range, as far as what we can see in game is roughly visually accurate. Mostly. So why is it that so many of my abilities require me to be so far up my target’s butt that I can’t even see myself or dangers on the ground. Yes, I know I need to kick that mob, and yes I am standing in the circle around said mob. How am I still out of range?
This happens with a lot more than just kicks though. There are some serious outliers that just have stupidly inaccurate hit boxes. Please, for Warrior QoL, give us a bit more leeway on melee range. Especially when every other melee seems to be further than ours.
PS: For those that wish to experience what I am complaining about, go into Stonevaults. The big rock guys that smash a raid wide aoe, then cause big rumbling circles. Their hit boxes are so jarring it’s not funny. Many caster mobs in Grim Batol, Ara-Kara, and City of Echoes also have smaller hit boxes.

So much this. Every mob feels like I need to be touching their grundle and I feel like I should be asking consent.

Hitboxes have never been consistent in this game at all, and they really should be going forward to stop the weirdness that happens when you change from target to target.
The hitbox inconsistencies based on size cause all sorts of issues with abilities that cleave from your target too.
Sure with proper play we can work around it while learning each mob’s hitbox, but the circle under it? What the hitbox should be indicating doesn’t always reflect correctly.

Something broke in TWW. I noticed this on a lot of my melee toons, moreso than recent expansions.
It’s 8 yards, but varying hitboxes make it inconsistent.
Per my experience, it’s either
-At lickable distance (warrior, rogues NOW, ww)
-Arm’s length (sv, enh, feral, havoc)
-From Narnia (ret, dk)
Being literally inside the mob to point you can’t see your character or mechanics

Vanilla Tauren Arms Warrior Sweeping Strikes + Whirlwind in Arathi Basin BG must have been a sight to behold on the receiving end. With Warstomp (Gnome Mage Popper) and Overpower (Activate on Target Dodge; Rogue Killer) plus some shammy/lock buff I can’t remember what class t would increase my size w/ red hands effect*
Far as I was told, Blizzard removed the Tauren hit reach advantage sometime between TBC and SL (I quit WoW late TBC, returned SL)
*Maybe it was my Bezerker Rage lol
just go dk their interrupt is 15 yards never miss an interrupt due to the mob moving slightly
warrior could 1 vs 1 anything in vanilla with a pally life support too bad horde cant provide those
