Alliance again are at a all time low in the player base being a meme of the two factions and almost incomparable to horde for competitive game play due to over powered racials.
At this point why not give the Alliance the extremely demanded High Elf race with super strong racials to combat the horde’s over powered racials? This is a race that was wanted since Vanilla wow due to Warcraft 2 & 3 and can even be show cased on private servers due to popular demand with google searches. The regal colors of High Elf’s with Ranger and Paladin playable classes. To counter act this for horde just give them the Sylvanas Blood Elf Dark Ranger appearance for Blood Elf’s and give horde the WELL NEEDED and again brain dead choice of the OG Vets the Ogre race for Horde.
Also why allow people to transfer from Alliance to Horde after seeing it’s like 15% alliance to 85%+ Horde. Our Guild just disbanded due to the Gm and a handful of people following them to Horde. Just a crap situation since I DONT WANT to play horde and don’t understand why this situation has been ignored for so long.
I think it’s hilarious that people think this will solve the problem, i can totally see horde PUGs screening out alliance plays as a baseline (unless they maybe need a particular class and don’t have any other options) lol
I’ve spent enough time on both sides to see that there’s a lot of hostility towards the alliance, and i don’t mean in a cool World of Warcraft way, it’s in a “Alliance is full of whiny kids” kind of way.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great new feature and friends that are on both sides will be able to take advantage of it to play together, i’m more referring to the PUG scene, i can see being alliance in the mixed pool of players being as advantageous as not having your AOTC ready to be linked lol
I’d go as far as to say that in addition to the horde not wanting alliance players, alliance pugs will potentially take a horde player over an alliance one too just based on the horde typically being more progressed and better geared (on average), it’ll be hilarious to watch
