This coming week we have a nerf to Feral Druid that was very clearly a problem in 2s, 3s, and even in the AWC.
The first thing they are going for is a nerf to Incarnation and survivability, a smart move by Blizzard to not over nerf the spec by going after a CD and not throughput…and I’m saying this as a DK.
Why…why…why did you developers not nerf the heck out of our Abomination + Four Horsemen back a month or so ago when you nerfed DKs? Instead you nerfed Death Coil, all of our DoTs, etc. And the funny part is, you guys buffed all of these abilities by 100s of percent for PvP back in Dragonflight Season 2 because DK was down bad. And now lo and behold, DK can only kill in their Abomination + 4 Horsemen window and generate zero pressure outside of this go.
I just don’t understand why you go after the right problem with certain classes, but with others you completely butcher them and are tone deaf to complaints.
I will continue to stand behind it, but class tuning this expansion has been absolutely atrocious. I do not want the Four Horsemen if my Death Coil is going to hit like a noodle again. This is not just a issue for Death Knight either…
Feral druid has consistently been stronger than dk was the entire expansion, but DK got the biggest nerf of any spec (excluding current ele shaman, which was released in an overtuned state).
Completely inconsistent when it comes to nerfs, no idea why. See the same issue when they do PvE buffs that they forget to add “Does Not Apply To PvP Combat” to them, like with feral for example.
it hasn’t been on any patch notes, but they also haven’t done anything about it. I can see them doing a “we’d rather you not play this spec” thing while they lined out the first wave of black arrow problems so that at least it’s only the bugged black arrow damage and not 145% rapidfire that procs bugged black arrow damage in trueshot. Doing it without saying anything would solve the problem while causing less fuss than including it in a patch note, while at the same time making people unwittingly give back solo shuffle rating that they might have gained on tuesday while the class was most bugged.
BM’s pvp modifiers are way less important, so even if they did also wipe them, it mattered less.
I’m just surprised how there aren’t a plethora of threads from mm hunters complaining about these bugs. Game breaking bugs that should’ve received a same day hotfix

I hope they make dks decent in 3v3 again. I remember how they also were nerfed for nearly half of df. You can always try shuffle or blitz
just look at how bad the nerfs to ele were SUPPOSED to be, until the pve community stepped in. we are still getting pretty nerfed in pvp, but not as bad.
I am sure we will not see anything to compensate for them fixing the ascendance bug (which does a lot of extra damage, like 10% of it) and now we will have less pressure on our goes and even less pressure outside during our sustained.
Its like they just throw darts at a board and see what they are doing and there is no specific pvp devs, which really hurts since they are doing (does not effect pvp) and (pvp only) changes these days.
it feels just like pre dflight rework dk right now where the only chance u have of scoring a kill is during your horseman window (and only if they magically attack the same target as you)
The only class that warrior is good against is DK, blizz nerfed them and now they are not playing the game, which means as a warrior i don’t counter a single class in this game.
This is probably the same take that one of the game developers uses! Thinking that Chains of Ice and AMS is a “toxic” utility into some classes…meanwhile you are posting from a FOTM Feral Druid that only has Duelist XP. As always, it checks out.
Mind you Feral does more dmg than DK right now, has better mobility, has a MS that is actually worth something…oh and has spammable CC that cannot be broken.
