Blizzard the only thing preventing me from coming back to SoD is having to find all the runes for each alt

We’ve already discovered them all, now please, make them purchasable!

I don’t want to have to deal with finding them for each new character! it’s a huge pain, and I’m not a fan.

Put the runes on a vendor in major cities… or i’m never going back.

EVER!!!

I suggested this on PTR about 50000000 times.

JUST PUT THE RUNES ON VENDORS

Most of us have, but they just… won’t listen…

If you don’t appreciate exploring the world then Season of Discovery isn’t for you. I am a fan of exploring the world and finding the runes.

If you want something that is “alt friendly” then I suggest retail. When you make an alt in classic WoW including Season of Discovery then you should invest the same amount of time into the first character you made.

They heard you but they are not obligated to pander to your entitled demands. As a dev I have to deal with this a lot.

Season of Discovery is all about exploration and finding runes. If you don’t like it then go play retail.

I disagree, I want to do the other content, it’s just the runes that are the major hang up.

if they want to save SoD, blizz needs to make rune vendors now… while they still can.

otherwise, SoD will die a slow death, and blizz will never, ever experiment in such away ever again…

is that what you want? Cause that’s what you’re gonna get if you persist with such a delusion.

You’re toxic asf

They already said they’re doing going to put runes on a vendor or some type of catch up mechanic.

Our issue is they’re waiting waaaaaaaaaaaay to late to implement it per usual

They need to do it right now, like right this second.

The longer they wait, the worse it’s gonna get.

i’m not gonna go out there and engage with the world just to get some random abilities that might make tanking easier, when I can just tank on my Era warrior and it’s fine.

SoD will die unless they implement it right now.

Season of Discovery isn’t dying. I am sick of people on these forums saying how Season of Discovery is dying just because they are not pandering to the demands of entitled players.

Just because Season of Discovery doesn’t have the same number of users when it was brand new doesn’t mean its in bad shape. Season of Discovery was meant for a certain group of players who prefer the classic experience, and you are obviously not part of that group.

Yes, it is.

You’re delusional if you think SoD isn’t dying.

You want to know how I know this?

Era is booming right now. and I know it’s booming because AV is popping outside of AV weekend, it’s been doing so for a week!

With every day that Era grows, SoD loses more players.

Sod is dying. it’s on it’s last legs, and if blizz doesn’t get their stuff together… the servers are gonna be dead in three weeks.

Mark my words.

The One thing holding SoD back is how outrageously annoying it is to get runes, and you need runes to be able to play properly.

Blizzard needs to implement Rune Vendors right now, or SoD is gonna die.

End of story.

You need to show me real proof rather than your personal story. My personal experience is that Season of Discovery is very much alive. I see low level zones populated with players, I see groups getting runes, and I see activity in the endgame.

You are the one with the claim that Season of Discovery is dying so much that unless Blizzard has rune vendors right now then Season of Discovery will die, so you have the burden of proof.

The fact that you are posting means you are subbed. They have your money, they don’t care about your feedback. You likely won’t be back before quitting for another reason anyways. In a cold calculation, what’s the additional value for YOU to play when you are already paid.

ok, let me be clear.

I’m not playing SoD right now, because runes are outragously annoying to get.

if I could buy them from a vendor, i’d play sod all day, any day. but I can’t, so i’m not.

I want to do SoD content, but the runes are a sticking point.

I don’t care for anything else you have to say, unless blizzard implents rune vendors, i’m not going to play the game, ever again.

to get me to keep paying?

I’m considering unsubbing from era because the end game is kind of terrible, so…

if blizzard wants to retain me as a customer, they need to make SoD more appealing, cause otherwise i’m probably gonna quit for good.

That’s not proof that Season of Discovery is dying. You just stated that Blizzard didn’t pander to your demand so you are not playing Season of Discovery, and that’s perfectly fine. Season of Discovery obviously isn’t for you so you find another place that fits your style. Season of Discovery will just be fine without you.

That’s my truth.

you don’t care for it… I don’t care for you.

you dont have to find all of them. just pick the ones you plan to use and find those.

Still outrageously obnoxiously annoying.

I’m not gonna do it, i want to buy runes from a vendor. If I can’t, then i’m not gonna play the game, end of story.

Can I have your stuff?

no i need it incase blizz ever wises up and make the changes I want.

Okay, bye!

Everyone on the forums will just tell you if you don’t want to suffer through solo SoD for runes, era/retail/Cata is that way.

While the dying game prepares for its death dive due to nobody new joining or anyone coming back.

But, while I understand your dilemma, the devs have stated they don’t plan on putting runes on a vendor.
