It’s been virtual radio silence since the initial announcement of DF. They told us “it’s very far along” but there is no evidence of it. We’ve seen no images, videos, or content about DF for a month. No alpha/beta in sight. No info on pre orders or pre orders bonuses. Even 9.2.5 is heavily encrypted. Not only will you not talk to us you won’t let us find information out on our own either. Communicate with us. Show us a new screenshot every day. Engage with the community. It’s the bare minimum. It’s so night and day compared to other game devs.

This is really strange to me. They didn’t even hint in the patch notes at all of the encrypted stuff and it launches in just a few days.
That makes me think we’re in an “Old Soldier” situation. If you remember that cinematic was released two days after the Sylvanas Warbringer where Teldrassil was burned and the community was very distraught and literally no one was expecting a full-length CGI story cinematic to release in the middle of the night.
I think Blizzard is going for a big surprise here over the weekend.
