Blizzard, stop wasting resources on mobile games

There’s a worker shortage and you’re spending resources on a useless mobile game?
Seriously?

PC games are a waste of resources. The mobile market is much larger than the desktop gaming space, and yes PC game enthusiasts should be worried by this.

I can reassure you Ion is not in charge of this mobile game

you act like the WoW team is also in charge of Hearthstone even though its set in a Warcraft franchise

Depends on the IP, Warcraft isn’t one of them.

There’s nothing wrong with making trash games that get money. Just make sure to use that money to make the actual good games once in awhile too. Probably not a smart idea to tarnish a successful IP in the process either. Just make a brand new one if you’re going to go this route like overwatch or something.

What do you think people know Betehsda more for? The profitable sports games that gave them money? Or the niche project that didn’t sell as high named “Daggerfall” which was the first game that made The Elderscrolls series into its flagship franchise…

Different teams work on different games.

Why is this such a difficult thing for people to understand?

They will probably make millions on this “worthless mobile game.” There is more money available from mobile games than desktop games.

Are Blizzard still making good games once in awhile?

You aren’t thinking big picture. Just think if they didn’t waste all that time and resources on card games and mobas, we’d have like an extra three expansions by now!

they abandoned Warcraft 3 reforged and left it to die, Warcraft 4 will never happen and they killed a StarCraft FPS for diablo 4 after the PR nightmare of diablo immortal… and now we get another warcraft mobile game with no sight to any strong PC games in the near future.

what blizzard forgets is BLIZZARD FANS IN GENERAL DO NOT LIKE MOBILE GAMING…hearthstone success is because it can be played on PC which was why diablo immortal got the death stare…

that doesn’t mean don’t make them, but they can only succeed if the flagship succeeds, and right now the flagships are no where in sight except 1 technically (dragonflight) which is unlikely to be out this year based on how they been doing things but still possible.
(huffs hopium)

overwatch 2 is honestly a disappointment IMO not that i think the update is bad, but looking at what we got how was this not a small patch in overwatch? now maybe there is more to the PVE but we have NO HINTS OF ANYTHING ON WHAT IT MIGHT LOOK LIKE which makes me think more of dr. junkenstien type stuff which really is low ball pve.

They hired people specifically for the game. Quit being a child.

Blizzard, stop trying to get a piece of a multi billion dollar industry using a popular name brand.

Bet you were hysterical in business classes.

and many brands have been ruined for chasing customers they don’t have instead of focusing on the ones they do have…

To think they could’ve taken all of those developers working on that unnecessary title, moved them over to the WoW retail teams and had them work on playerhousing and the enormous amounts of other improvements the game desperately needs to modernize itself…

Or maybe make a cool mobile game?

You’re an idiot…

Yes… let’s not waste resources on a genre that will return those resources back ten fold.

Did you even watch the leaked gameplay footage? :joy:

Yes. It’ll make Blizz bank because mobile games are a huge market.

Yikes, if you really think that gameplay is going to be competitive in todays mobile gaming market.
