Blizzard, stop adding SoM changes to Classic Era

This is exactly what I was worried about where SoM changes affect CE. CE players should post here to say they don’t want SoM to affect CE. It will only escalate from here. First it’s the shared bugs, then fruit bowls, then the auto dismount, then the pickpocketing changes, then the quest reward retrieval, then the mob pathing. Later it will be itemization changes, then “QoL” changes, then store stuff, and within 3 - 5 years we will be right back to Modern WoW. It’s already happend with Modern starting back in WotLK and it’s happened again with TBCC. CE should be the one game mode without any changes. But no. Of course those are not the only examples. “Updates” to WC3 with reforged broke the game. The recent “update” to SC2 broke the game. This isn’t fearmongering or madness, but referencing history and seeing CE is going that same path again. Seasonal changes must not affect CE. We will already have to deal with the influx of players & materials as is at the end of each season. Unlike all the other versions of WoW, CE does not have the problems other verions have. There is a small, tight-knit community of players who love the game to death, but only in it’s most un-molested form. Thow those changes into Modern if it really helps botting, griefing, and selling runs. That’s not and never will be an issue for CE.

And yeah, patch notes would be great. Even a full & proper SoM patch note post would allow CE players to keep an eye out and report any changes as a bug. It doesn’t have to be this way :frowning:
