Blizzard still thinks you do but really don’t

Check out all the new BFA realms available compared to the new classic ones. Feels like management thinks longs queues will make folks give BFA another chance when they are waiting for hours to get into classic. Still don’t get it…

That’s a reach. I think they’re more concerned with how the population will look in 3 weeks, 3 months, and a year.

They actually realize that there are far more cry baby snowflakes that play WoW than not. In being smart enough to know this Kaillie answer is correct !!

Reach?!?! All one has to do is count. No way BFA population is growing due to ‘fun’.

Uh, “new” BfA realms? What?

well you could be correct who really knows. The one thing we all do know is that BFA is their baby and they will never admit to mistakes made so it very well could be just trying or hoping to get ppl in while the Qs are so long. But I still think that it more likely that they expect a big drop in population a few weeks after release.

Again, what “new” BfA realms?

Aren’t all the BFA realms just one giant CRZ realm now anyway?

And more classic servers will be released as needed, not a big dump at once. I imagine if a lot of people are still playing by phase 2, they will add more servers again so they can get rid of layering. Just a guess though, as much as anything you are saying is a guess.

OP is going on about all the “new” BfA realms compared to the Classic realms. To the best of my knowledge, they haven’t added any new realms on the retail side in forever (unless you want to count things like the Australia-hosted Aussie realms). So what is he going on about?
As far as Classic, they have already shown they’re willing to add new realms as needed. They even finally added a couple more PvE realms.

9 servers marked “new player” out of 230+servers, so they expect an overflow around +/- 90,000
Classic has 14 servers, even with first week layering that’s not much capacity given what we’ve seen of the interest level on forums…

They have. And you couldn’t be bothered to take 5 minutes to verify it. Sad!

Which servers? And when? This would be pretty big news. And did you read my post?

Adding “Sad!” to your comment doesn’t do anything to help your argument, or provide any facts to back you up.

Vanilla-Classic has been kept alive for 13 years, tell blizzard to not worry. Shiet i forgot to say, it sure as hell wasn’t kept alive by blizzard

They are opening up some more new realms though. We have 4 new ones on Monday. They are watching closely, and like they said, they have the ability to open up some more new realms on the fly as needed.

Which is the best way to handle it, when considering the long-term health of the server.

Terrible reasoning and anyone with a brain understands based upon history why they are starting off with less servers

Just because a realm is marked new player doesnt mean its a new realm. Those are just realms designated more new player friendly.
