No.
Not since Shadowlands, anyways.
Yeah, knocked down from 20% to 15% because nobody was pressing it ever. Having the values be equal left warriors more or less afk in dstance like in SL but having it be 20/10 just meant pressing it was trolling.

Which is another example of how poorly itâs been implemented because, from my understanding, there are some inconsistencies with what triggers the knock back DR currently. I forget which spells are the offenders here, maybe RoP? Not sure at the moment but the point here is that Spear has some really unintuitive interactions that they should iron out. Unpolished spells really have no place in the game (cough Mind Control cough)
Also, latency seems to really hurt the spell more than other skill shot abilities. Have seen a lot of warriors miss a spear that should have snagged someone based on visual hitboxes. And then latency also has led to unintended interactions where you can blink out of the Spear.
I think thatâs just kind of how the game handles movement; if somebody jumps and disengages then their position is slower to update than if they had walked, so theyâll seemingly get speared out of the air because the game was slower to adjust their position.
But yeah, it also had a bit of a delay so basically it was super unreliable and sketchy to ever free throw it instead of doing it off a stun or at the very least a piercing.
Exactly. I love the idea of Spear and always welcome more options. But right now I think itâs healthier that itâs not meta, even if it makes things a little bland.
If they ever revisit it, I hope they polish it up so it can be a reliable tool to combat the current mobility creep
I think like 15 of the 20 teams I played into the other night had a Warlock so Idk if itâd even see much play if it got buffs, lmao.
Even worse if thereâs a priest in the mix.
Wasnât the main issue with banner the str% modifiers it got on top of it buffing friendlies mastery by too much? Donât think itâs a fry take to have a more in line banner with S1 SL. But what do I know. I been gone since S2 of SL.
It was a bit of a package deal for retwarr in particular; mastery for the whole team, which was good-great, movement speed, and of course a big damage amp for the warr with less counterplay than spear.
I still think it couldâve been implemented as a choice node alongside avatar or something.

It just adds to the melee v caster arms race of mobility/escapes. The game needs less of those not more. Mages already have like 12 buttons they can use to escape/cc/survive, Blizz needs to prune those instead of giving more to other classes to balance it out.
it should be nerfed to only pull in once, like every other similar ability
What a bold and novel piece of fiction you have penned.
Iâll just say that a warrior does more damage outside bladestorm, so if they bladestorm while youâre speared you can just sit there free casting regrowths with barkskin and moonkin armor and take a lot less damage then you think.
That would be a consistent counter if Regrowth was a good ability in the first place or if their DPS partner didnât have a kick or stun ready to shut down your Regrowth spam.
Mortal Wounds and a little bit of dampening hampers Regrowth greatly, even without the 50% nerf on it that Feral has.
Moonkins are disgusting but Regrowth isnât the reason why.
(I canât believe you managed to get me to defend the Balance specialisation).
Incredibly frustrating/jarring to be on the receiving end of.
Thatâs how I feel about frost nova ![]()
Itâs a capstone talent not a generic middle one like ursols and it needs to compete with thunderous roar (and more importantly) thunderous words
i think this is an unhelpful design perspective
a talent tree with absolutely no 3rd tier picks isnât any kind of inherent problem-the important part is just whether the spec meets the low bar of pvp balance. they absolutely do not work hard enough on pvp to justify expecting talents to be balanced to compete with each other, especially not within something as arbitrary as its position on the y axis of the talent pane
regrowth doesnt heal for a lot im not saying it does. but with barkskin, moonkins passive armor and versa DR it will be more than enough to deal with the damage from spear + bladestorm. This isnt even about feral so who cares about those gross little cats.

having bad capstones isnt a problem i agree. look at monks, theyâre all awful and the class is more than relevant. i think if spear pulled once and was on a lower cd it would maybe see some more play and be more interesting gameplay for the warrior. id give it a whirl over just afk picking roar everytime.
whatâs the cooldown on ursolâs vortex?
whatâs the duration of ursolâs vortex?
whatâs the travel time of the projectile of ursolâs vortex?
what other properties does it have aside from pulling players back?
iâm not positive you meant that as a reply to me, because nothing i said invited these questions or the comparison theyâre based on
because i am nice i will furnish you with the requested information anyway:
