That is a lie, not once did I have DW lose RI stacks. Out of every single test I did not once did my RI stacks dip below 50% with DW.
And no, 2h will not have full stacks all the time for Obliteration windows. At least not all of them. Depending on when the stacks fall off, you could be going into a PoF window and have 0 stacks so you only get maybe 1-2 full stacked Obliterates. Even your opener it takes time to stack up RI. It lasts 12 seconds, it would take 10 seconds to get to full RI stacks with a 1 second GCD. That leaves 2 seconds to get one more Obliterate at full stacks.
So no, I will almost guarantee people will be on these forums complaining about how bad the tier set is with 2h.
Unholy never had DW outside of bugs. Quit talking like Unholy was the DW spec, it wasnt, its always been Frost. Just get rid of 2h because it doesnt fit how the spec is designed.

Just like now you are talking about people not playing properly which is an assumption with 2h vs DW, what is this 2h proper play? Whats the BiS? Is it based on the content that you are doing, or is it based on absolute BiS? There is a difference there that your guide didnt include either from what I can tell.
No its not. If I were a betting man, I would take the bet that people would come to these forums complaining about RI falling off so much and asking for 2h buffs concerning the tier set.
But again, 40% of my DW auto crits procced KM. 75% of my 2h auto crits procced KM. DW however has over double the attack rate of 2h.
I just wish they wouldâve told us. Itâs been in effect all of Shadowlands so nothing directly changes right now, except our understand of it and the value of talents etc.
early on, frost was better using 2h because of the harder hits, so that makes more sense for frost being 2h.
unholy was the âdesease spreaderâ, so using 2 faster weapons made more sense with keeping up stacks⊠and honestly still does, which is why there are players whoâd like to see the weapon restrictions flipped if not removed altogether.

If you donât know what Necromantic Aegis is, it just means your stats on a shield do not affect you as a character and it will affect your minions instead.
Whatever the Strength, Stamina, Crit, Haste, Mastery or Vers it has will go to your minions instead of you.
If you want DW Unholy, all the weapon restrictions need to go and the game should embrace creativity.
No, it wasnt lol. This is just flat out false. There is only 1 raid tier where 2h was on par with DW and that was early WoD for Frost. Just because something can hit harder which early on DW was hitting just as hard as ARP Blood, doesnt mean its better.
Everyone spread diseases as well. What âstacksâ are you talking about? Necrotic Plague stacks? It stacked on its own.

unholy does have a stacking attack now and a âpoppingâ attack to inflict its damage. faster swings would allow stacks to replenish faster over time compared to a slower weapon.

and by the way- yes many played 2h frost back in the day for pvp over the dw pve build just because of the oblit crits.
I cant tell why you are so hung up about BiS and things when you are not doing content where you will ever get BiS gear, or where damage checks will ever be a thing where âproper playâ from icecap would ever be necessary. Rough hill to die on.
Also, Biceps is giving 2 different narratives. Here hes saying its fine but on the PTR forums hes saying things like.

iâll be honest about this one- i never liked frost enough to play it. tried it back then⊠didnât like it⊠stuck to unholy since i enjoyed it since day 1.
