I’ll still do D8s for extra heroic vault choices after passing +5 keys. Gotta get that 4-set and every roll helps when it’s down to the last one.
And if Blizzard wants delves to remain relevant, just put a decent trinket in their loot table.

I’m pretty sure only trolls are saying this to begin with. Top players won’t care, they’ll be spamming M+ and pushing Mythic raid for better rewards next week. This doesn’t hurt them since they’ve already gotten their vault rewards for this week.
I think people are mixing up two issues: some players are pointing out the disparity between solo delves, where tanks need to wait on cooldowns after every pull, and group delves, where tanks barely drop below 80% health and can clear everything in minutes and isn’t much harder than a heroic.
What people are really asking for is to lower the difficulty of solo delves and increase the group difficulty a bit, finding a balance somewhere in the middle.
Most are asking for adjustments like this, where 0 is the adjustment to be made:
Solo <-X--------------------------------0--------------------------------X-> Group
But it seems like some in this thread think the request was:
Solo <-X0----------------------------------------------------------------X-> Group
I just refuse to believe they are that hard because people when i try to group with them always said how bad of a player I was. My logic is if I am bad and I can do these with no deaths then the content must be easy. Additionally would indicate people are less skilled then me. However, the alternative could be true that the gatekeepers I ran into in groups was just toxic people that shifted the blame of their failures onto me.
“Blizzard shouldn’t listen to the majority of players”
They know, and they don’t
i did think delves were too easy, imo.
they didn’t provide any challenge.
but to be clear, i was asking for higher levels - not to buff the prior levels which would make the level 8 gear rewards harder to achieve.
am i going to be fine doing 8s for the gear now? yes but alot of people won’t and i don’t think that is a good thing.
Which majority should they not listen to?
The actual majority of players is unrepresented, and even if it were, it would be hard to pin a single ‘idea’ down. The forums are not a majority, though. They also don’t represent any majorities. Other than ‘a majority of the forum.’
They have to nerf the last 2 raid bosses
Blizzard shouldn’t listen to the majority of players
The majority of players do not do high level keys and in fact the majority of players were not complaining. There are millions who play this game, only a few hundred, maybe a thousand, were saying delves were too easy. That’s a small fraction of 1% of the players.
Of course Blizzard knows this. It’s more likely that they were looking and seeing what we were actually doing rather than listening to complaints. One person suggested that they wanted to drive groups away from delves and back to M0 and M+.
I think that is far more likely.
Pretty much. I like the challenge honestly.
Mythic Raiding & Mythic+ is too elitist and time consuming for a filthy casual like me to invest my time into. But Delves are great because they force me to critically think about what’s not working and problem solve through it.
I think it’s great because outside of Mythic content most of this game has too much mindless hand holding.
By choice. Everyone has the opportunity to voice their opinion or vote with their wallet (and provide a cancellation reason).
If people choose not to, they are in a poor position to complain about changes that they don’t agree with.
Not… really? The “majority” doesn’t decide anything. It doesn’t have autonomy. The individuals in it do, and while you can say it’s their doing, it’s stupid to blame any one of them for the decision not to engage.
Developers and publishers know this, this is essentially the point of analytics.
If they choose not to, they aren’t complaining. So I really don’t know what point you were even trying to make, here.
Delves right now are fine.
They should leave them as is.
ah yes, because nobody ever has fun in warcraft. we all just endlessly chase loot and mock anyone having fun at anything.
“Blizzard shouldn’t listen to the majority of players.”
Is this some sort of WoW reverse psychology???
Says who? Got a blue post or link?
There’s never been any reason to expect that they wouldn’t tune (well try to tune) them to have a difficulty appropriate for their rewards.
