Yup. Anniversary is bots, bans for no reason, boosting only no real leveling, rmt, no gdkp, no fun.

The bots are there because people RMT gold to buy consumes, BoE’s, Boosts and all to basically avoid playing the game in every way imaginable minus the 30 to 90 mins they spend raiding per week.
Simply just banning the buyer without mercy would go a real long way in fixing the problem.
I could care less about GDKP, its only a so called problem because blizzard does not ban buyers.

Shouldn’t be free, but should be separate from Retail. And make it so Tokens can’t be used to pay for it. Watch the number of bots plummet.

Businesses don’t make money perm banning ppl who pay monthly.
And they know you’ll keep paying regardless of how many ppl cheat.
Zero incentive to perm ban.
Free accounts have a limit of 100g.
Cannot Mail anything to other players.
Can only buy items on the AH, cannot sell.
These would be a few of the starting restrictions to consider. Even then, botting is such a pervasive problem, i dont see it happening.

I dont play retail. Havent since the first launch of Classic. I understand paying for a retail sub because they make new content. But Classic or era is a museum piece or atleast was. It should be free to play for the people who prefer it

Well if paired with a good marketing campaign and pvp MMR it could be a massive population boost.
However, I personally think the $15/month is extremely cheap and acts as a natural filter to bots / hackings.
The bots are still plentiful. And they like the bots more than the real players
who wouldn’t? bots never complain or ask for more content or stop subscription half-way through a tier. We suck.
blizz needs money to keep running game. Era helps with subs.
