I agree WoW needs to be less afraid of showing skin, but Marvel Rivals is a bit too far in the other direction.
Rivals can get away with the sexualized character designs because that’s a staple of comic book characters. WoW doesn’t have that excuse.
Fully on board for a Shark class though.
There’s no such a thing as “too hot”.
The more hotness the better

You’re right, but more skin =/= more sexy.
WoW can get hotter without resorting to comic book levels of skin exposure.

Listen dude. If I want a video game to learn ANYTHING from Marvel Rivals it’s Overwatch.
But that really ain’t gonna be happening. I want the memory of any of these hero shooters to rest.
Also… they’re both Hero Shooters. Not MMOs. You want to somehow run an MMO simulation in those games? By all means, nobody is stopping you.

I… kinda disagree. Like, Emma Frost’s appearance in Rivals crosses the line to where her “hotness” becomes kind of hilarious more than anything.
Like, looking at her next to the other characters makes me think of how Rob Liefeld would give characters insane proportions, y’know?

Alleria, classic Sylvanas, Whitemane, perhaps even Jaina (at least in WC3 classic and the incarnation that used to hang out in Theramore, before she went angry girlboss mode, when she was a cute blonde with a Fern style body).
Not to mention the anime Metzen obviously watched that influenced his art style, like Record of Lodoss War and Slayers, was not exactly tame in this regard.
Xal’atath has a certain charisma as well that hints that SOMEONE at Blizzard wants a return to form. Thus all the talk about her feet.

What characters? All the male and female characters are dressed head to toe in what might as well be Burka’s.
Tell us you haven’t looked at a comic since the 80’s without telling us you haven’t looked at a comic since the 80’s. Most modern comic characters might as well be dressed in Burka’s now.
