Oh well that’s life? No mmo in existence has proved to keep players interested without adding content. They added content in vanilla, and they should add content in classic.
I have to admit, OG DKs were loads of fun. I loved being able to DPS as Blood. Was probably one of the most fun classes I’ve ever played.
I like where your head’s at.
- No LFR or LFG
- Classic+
- Flight…
BC and Wrath zones were made w/flying in mind. All they need to do is tweak flying. Put c/ds on flying, increase the cast time on flying mounts, and limit the time players can fly. That way it’s only used when necessary and not a way to avoid the world completely. Hell, make them complete a quest line while they’re at it, similar to unlocking allied races.
The DK was the beginning of the end.
This class threw off any type of balance for all classes.
DK was my favorite class. Go away Bruel, you hate us cuz you aint us
Classes in BFA are more balanced than ever. The problem is that balance comes at the cost of classes feeling unique.
Not true. DKS have been so OP since release i actually have a 120 DK. and it was a freaking cake walk to level and run instances since there release. This class alone change the way instances were designed and changed them into an AOE spam crap shoot.
well you know what they say. never make assumptions. so i wasn’t going to assume you meant that too. i’d rather have clarification.
can you promise me that the new content added will be in the same design as classic, and they won’t try to add dozens of quality of life updates or other such stuff?
if you’re strictly talking new content, and say barbershops and banks. i could get behind that. but if we start to see other stuff? yeah.
thats a flat out lie. class balance in retail is the worst its ever been.
So many dead specs and useless classes.
No thanks, I have no interest in playing classic. I tried it. Already been there and done that and don’t really need to go back and do it all over again. I enjoy moving forward. You guys can have the past and I’ll move into the future. To each their own.
Because people want to force everyone else to play their way
“Dead” is a term people have applied to WoW since it’s birth. It’s a gross exaggeration. Because the classes aren’t all 100% tied for being the most optimal doesn’t mean the game isn’t more balanced. Where as in Vanilla/Classic, you simply can’t play certain specs/classes in certain rolls- but that’s fine, because at least the spec feels unique and has it’s niche.
I can promise that’s what I’m pushing for. I just want more raid tiers, maybe zones that keep the same difficulty m, time requirement etc.
I’m not asking for pet battles or LFG/LFR(although I’m not completely against a premade group finder).
I just that making raids and adjusting the classes with what the devs know and have learned would make for amazing content.
Every expansion is Blizzard abandoning the previous.
tell that to the druids who are yet again forced to ONLY heal because their other 3 specs are complete and utter trash.
theres a reason why classic is out preforming retail and a lot of it has to do with the direction blizzard took the game. there’s no challenge to retail.
don’t i know it. i’ve spent the two years since classic announcement watching retail fans trying to change classic into retail set at level 60.
i don’t like that, and i don’t like changing retail into classic either.
do i think they could learn things from each other and make a better game overall? yes. but i doubt it happens.
I do not want TBC or WotLK. I just want Classic+ to go its own new direction, and I want the core gameplay mechanics of classic to be kept through whatever new content we would get. No flying, no dungeon finder tools, etc.
But… mah blood worms
and this is what concerns me right here. adjusting the classes?
how far down the rabbit hole do you go?
because you know what? blizzard has stated that if they were to balance the classes in classic, we would get retail design and balance.
i’m sorry but i don’t want that at all. retail classes are homogenized and have no soul. there is no RPG to the retail classes at all.
now if what you want is say…burning crusade balance, i could potentially support that.
actually not a bad idea at all. I like your thinking sir. damn alliance scum.
