Both classes could have lost 40% perspective power and would still be comparable to every melee except for Unholy DK.
Let us have some fun before we get that 25% damage nerf and btw we turned off your runeforge 
Perhaps that is the point. Unholy is among the highest rated spec in the game. The counter virtually all casters (demo was the only one who could possibly stand a chance due to physical damage components that are now nerfed into the ground.) GG, join the melee train.
What kinda logic is this lol “don’t nerf me yet bro!”. Spriest “fun” lasted 4 weeks into season, hopefully your specs fun also lasts another week 
You never know though you might get to have as much “fun” as destro did in BFA or warriors in SL since blizzard is a joke and probably reached their balancing quota for the xpac.

The 2 broken specs you couldn’t make work for you, will be fine. Actual non fotm Spriest and locks agree their specs will be fine and they are glad to see trash fotm players reroll out of them.
“You” issue, not the spec.
Problem dps casters face where a lot of these complaints come from is similiar to healers in that, its not that you cant be effective, strong, and successful, its that it feels like you are working harder for equal results to others. This experience is not fun.
I think the spriest nerfs were fine in itself, but spriest damage was never the real issue imo. The issue is the fear into silence into stun while the dps is blanketed with mindgames that if dispelled fears you again all the while they are practically immortal especially when paired with another caster.

The problem with most casters is that precog is almost useless, that’s why builds with lots of instant cast skills were dominating.
You fake cast → get 4 secs precog → get a cc in the face → precog buff gone → the other melee will just interrupt you… repeat forever.
Casters should be able to cast.
You also lose 1 pvp talent for precognition, that’s huge.
